Surpassed my expectations in huge 32 combo stylee.

Lots of 'laugh out loud' moments and generally well put together.

Worth watching for the excellent 'Hilter Interview' alone.

If it were an eBay auction I would give it A++++++++++++++++ Excellent trader.

That was quite entertaining. The beginning was a bit odd, but it deffinitely improved after that. I enjoyed the castlevania and Bunjai (or whatever it is called) reviews, but Siren and Morrowind seemed to drag. The game shop interview was painful, but using it in the interview translation later on was genius. The none game segments were a bit hit and miss. Hitler was just plain unfunny, but Legend had his moments and i particularly liked him talking to the girls. I would suggest that the captions that are meant to be easy to read remain on screen for a fraction longer. I missed a few bits due to slow reading. On the whole it is a very good first effort that kept me entertained through out.

How about acting out some videogame moments in real life in a future episode. I think there is a website that does it already and it was pretty entertaining.

Btw, I will seed the file for a few days, only got 256 up, but it all helps.

See, I enjoyed it to start with up to a certain point. Probably the Hitler bit, or the wrestling bit, whichever came first. Actually if the NVIDIA bit was before then it was then.

I skipped all the reviews as well, I dunno... something not quite right about them! Personally, of course. Again, probably just cos the games themselves didn't interest me. I'd rather see a short review on more games then big reviews on just two or three.

The intro was great, and the Sexy Boy/Hero of Youth stuff was all good.

Wrong! The reviews were the best bits, really. Back to Cybernet with you!

:(

What RJ said.

Fuck it, I'm going to have to say it - VIDS WITH GAMES.

Scottish people talking passionately and interestingly about something I am deeply interested it, with occasional funnies.

VIDS WITH GAMES!!! :P

Just finished watching it and I have to say it was fucking good. The review of Siren almost, almost made me want to play it again and the re-dub was great as well. So yeah, Vids with games sounds about right. It was about as funny as Vids as well.

Well done you lot. Makes me wish 4Later was still on.

Shit, forgot to give respect for including the Overblood footage, and including virtually every zombie encounter in the game. I had forgotten just how shit that game looked even when it was new.

Didn't I already say that too, up there ^^

:P

And haven't I been saying it since the start and then actively trying not to say it?

B)

I can't go back to watching some american guy read out press releases over footage of someone driving into walls in racing games any more.

This will kill games shows the way Vids killed other movie shows for me.

But such sweet sorrow!

OK, I've got the full file (thanks Dukesy and others). I've also split it in to 20MB RARs. I've created PAR2 files for those who want them.

It's available for HTTP download from: http://www.rikwade.com/consolevania/

The upload of all the RARs and PARs is currently in progress but the early files are already up.

Fantastic. I'm getting it at 100kb/sec from there.

Thank you.

It's a good job that Gamespot videos aren't like that then isn't it, you'll still have those if you want them as well as Consolevania :P

Jumble Jumble I think you'll find that you are about 4th or 5th to say Vids with games. I was 1st, before it even came out B)

I saw the bit where you did it but did you upload it somewhere? *checks back again*

edit - no, you haven't, so what good is that then? :( Please convince Droo to host that file, that'd be the bestest! It takes a girl and some nagging to get the best most sensible option going, always

I might be able to get it done tonight, unless someone can get it done before I get home. For anyone who's interested in doing it: It was really simple, literally five minutes to set up DrDivX and then just leave it running.

OK, PAR files are up now too and all parts of the MPEG.

Can someone post or PM me with details of what I've got to do with virtualdub or the divx encoder in order to shrink down the file size? I'm getting a conversion from the MPEG to DivX which is 533MB to 875MB, which is daft.

Saying this, I might just go out for a ride on my bike instead.

Actually, I'll probably just submit it to Suprnova using my tracker.  If it handled 50 connections, then hopefully a few more (conservative estimate) won't harm it.  What "link" should be used, though?  Biglime's profile?  This thread?

The programme's website, surely.

Edit: Check biglime's profile for the URL.

Off the top of my head...

Go to www.divx.com and download the free trial of DrDivX.

Install and run then choose 'video' as the source and point it to the .mpg file of the programme, then click next, then next again when it asks you about the audio source.

Next, choose a profile for the encoding. I think I chose DivX Home Theater with the default low quality settings.

Then choose an output destination and click finish

Then you can go for a ride on your bike while it's working.
