Without following the "i liked this bit" trend, i'll say that the points made in the reviews made a lot of sense, even if they didn't match my opinions, and they weren't what I was expecting, having been conditioned by motherfucking Gamepad and Gamezville. I can't recall a single "it has nice graphics bruv", which was a refreshing change.

What annoyed me was that I was unable to pause it quick enough to catch the subliminal frames scattered through the g-force shop bit. Also the wrestling bit dragged on a tad.

Liked it a lot. Much, much better then the shite that gets commisioned for TV. Can't wait for the 2nd episode. Loved the bit in the shop, G-Force. Liked all of it really and that Bujingai looks top notch. I just may have to import it!

It's amazing. And even though its scheduled for a US release, there's every likelihood they'll be removing all the bonus stuff with Gackt.

In fact, its the only game on episode 1 that I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to everyone...

Tell you what I did like.. when you reviewed Castlevania and came to the conclusion that it was "a grower", but then went on to recommend Rygar. More of this. Something really tedious about reviews is that (especially on the fanboy sites) they sing the praises or otherwise and then that's it, full stop. What I want to know is.... "this title is good/crap, but here's one that's sort of similar but which is the best game ever...ever". Maybe extend the followup bit to about 30-60 seconds and say why it's better in a few ways.

I guess it is because if you have say, the first 5% downloaded, then you can upload that first 5% over and over to loads of different people, hence making the amount uploaded more than then amount downloaded.

Unless you meant, how did you manage to upload more than you had downloaded when your upload rate was lower, in which case I guess your download must've been really low when you weren't looking or something...

I think the reason why some people haven't recieved the disk yet is because of the poor use of celetape(spelling) used to close the envelope. Mine just had two bits holding down either side, it looked like one of the kittens from the intro had done it.

So my contribution to episode 2 of consolevania is that you either get self adhesive envelopes or you need to take some kind of course to educate yourself in the ways of envelope adhesive methods.

Yes, lesson one: If your envelope has two sticky patches, one on the back, one on the flap, it's an epoxy envelope and you shouldn't lick it.

We were thinking Twin Snakes and Harvest Moon (even though Harvest Moon games give me a FUCKING HEADACHE!!!!!) and A-Train 6 and possibly Glass Rose.

How about throwing in something on a handheld platform? If you do Harvest Moon, how about tagging in a bit about the handheld version too? You've covered 90% of the matieral in the GC review, so doing the GBA bit wouldn't be too much extra work? Also, would be good to throw in something like a Wario Ware review at some point -- so many people have missed out on this game because it looks crap and doesn't sell itself well on the box. Saying that, you may be preaching to the converted by reviewing it? Dunno.

I don't know about everyone else, but wont A-Train 6 be a bit dull? Can I ask exactly what the problem was with getting direct feed? I think you said something about legal problems, but websites provide direct feed videos all the time.
