So I have a modded box

And with that I am working my way through the lists, just for the hell of it.

So last night, myself and Mr Isaacs were messing about with the games, and came across 'Iamsorry'

So we had a crack at it.

And then ended up with the most bizzare ending to a game, capture wise by one of the villans.

Well I have to say the makers of it are a peverse little gang - thats for sure.

I could explain what I saw but that take the fun out of it for those who have it, have played it or know what the hell I am talking about.

So go on - have a play and let me know your thoughts.

it rocked my socks off last night, and they walked out the door dancing.

We played Iamsorry by accident, but jesus we laughed.

I think it was on MameX

And I wish I had ordered as large a hard drive as possible.

Mr I was peeved at mine being more up to date. And the new shell - but really it was a new machine - Crystal!

And the lights and the blue X on start up....

Mmm, MameX.

For someone like me, who doesn't own a PC and has therefore never played an emulated arcade game, this is going to be close to heaven.

I did once see a couple of emulated arcade games on my mate's PC, and I was annoyed that the frame rates were all over the shop, and some of the sound was fucked etc. Is that sort of thing sorted on the Xbox? Also, I'm assuming that the TV display will make for better emulation, what with the lower res and all.

Come on, get me all hard "down there", tell me what these roms are like on a chipped Xbox. Do you just select a game from a list? Can I play 2-player Double Dragon?!

Yes. Select an emulator from a list and then select a ROM. Thousands of them.

Can I play 2-player Double Dragon?!

Yes.

It's my favourite shoot 'em up of all time, probably because I completed it on holiday when I was about 14 in front of 10 or so onlookers.

Thats nothing i once completed Virtua Striker 2 (as Scotland) in the student union on the first night of freshers week in front of numerous people ;) those were the days.

Does a modified Xbox have an Amiga emulator as I would love to be able to play Sensible World of Soccer on my Xbox, can it be done?.

There is an Amiga emulator (with support for a USB keyboard). SWOS has been tricky to get running, but I downloaded an image a couple of days ago which seems to work well. I haven't tried saving a game though, so I'm not sure if that works.

DsD, I'm doing yours *right now* in an effort to get it posted today. :)

Is that the Richard Nixon one? If so I have played it, an odd game.

There was one very old but excellent game I played whilst going through a random stroll of mamex. But I can't remember what it was called. Arses.

And hatris, despite having an excellent name, is shite.
