Channel 4 have announced that they plan to introduce a new weekly games show called "Gaming Rooms" to terrestrial TV this September which is thought to be in direct competition with ITV's Game Stars.

The new show will run for 8 weeks and is to be produced by the same team who previously worked on Thumb Bandits, however Carole Smiley will be replacing lanky comic presenter Iain Lee.

Gamestyle hopes to bring more news on this show very soon.

When I was a lad we only used to be allowed to do April Fools up until lunchtime. Anybody that did one after that was a spacker.

Was I lied to all my life, or is that still the case?

Still the case... Probably, but I've been driving down the M1 most of the day so this is the first chance I've had.

Though it would have been funny as Aleks could have tagged out and Bouff would come in and beat the shit out of Carol Smiley with a tennis racket being 'zany' as she is.

I hope that wasn't a dig at Bouff.. You can't make digs at Bouff! I love Bouff!!!

;)

Ahem... Sorry..

Ahem... Sorry..

Visit Bouff's webwhoringshop.. I mean website and you won't love her quite nearly as much anymore..

Or watch Cradle of Fear, or that shit film about posessed nuns. or anything she's ever done that's not Bits.

Carol Smiley? FFS. She's a wrinkly old hag.

She's now gone the full career circle from What Every Woman Wants underwear model to hosting a game show. Is there no beginning to her talent?

Oh my god! NEWBIE SCUM!

How...why...what were you thinking?

What a load of fucking shit. It's going to be no coverage of games, just Carol popping around to gamer pads and letting them show off their console collections/TV setups. Hark! There will be one Animal Crossing obsessive who has bought all the plush toys and painted huge murals behind him, as he plays the game constantly for 24 hours.

Smiley-smiley Carol Smilie? Thanks much! I'm doomed.
