Aye glad enough people turned up. I'm actually off work tomorrow (Tuesday) as well, so if anyone fancies a bash then, get in touch. I think it definitely paid off today, we picked up the bare basics and at least have an idea about the missions and stuff. Communication was one of the hardest things to grasp but we've got it now.

I'll be around today but my gf may want to drag me out again but what time you guys going to be online today as there are 4 of us. Good for a 2 vs 2.

Best thing is to set at time we will all be on if possible as I went online yesterday around 13.30 to play this but no one was around until the evening then I had to go out :ph34r: .

Yeah last night was a lot of fun. When you play with the right people this for me is the best Live game so far - expect for the connection problems :ph34r: . The maps we did were ace too.. and Jigs that tussle we had on the bridge - I had no idea how you knocked me down until I looked at the replay. You used that plasma torch thingy.. crafty ^_^

This game just oozes techy robot geekness.. surprised EDGE didn't talk about it more in the Robot issue a couple of months back. TOP GAME.

Campaign is the hardest thing about the game IMO. I've played with pilots that have said they were 'ok' and then got absolutes mullered! Now I always quickly look at everyones stats when I jump into a lobby - you can have a pretty good idea on how good they are that way. The rank I think is quite misleading.. I'm a 'Sgt' in campaign yet I've only got 3 kills out of 20 or so deaths (quite bad really) so I'm sure I my rank should be 'Potato Peeler' :P

I like the insignia editor in the maintenance bn. So far I've done a mod target (RAF!), a mario boo and the Acid house smiley. (nice easy circles!)

I've seen some really fancy ones but i'm not that arty and I'd rather have my own than someone else's although the Autobot insignia was very cool B)

Anyway there's some good ones to copy from the animal crossing website :ph34r:

Question: Does anyone know the url for a good SB forum?

I can be online anytime from now (11:30). Have to go out at 15:00 though

Yeah there was a lot of static coming from my mic. Took me a while to figure out my sudden drop in popularity. Trouble is, you don't norice it yourself, only figured out there was something wrong because the speech bubble was always on. Smacked the mic around and it seems to be ok now.

There's an offline editor for the emblems if you have a modded box or an action replay. If you want a particular design just send it to me and I'll convert it with photoshop. Saves a couple of hours :ph34r:

I have taken this week off work so 'll be floating around LIVE for the rest of the week. U1 - may see you online at some point today. I'll be on probably around 12.00 ish.

Good stuff, Was just about to post again to see if anyone is around.

Got your friend request, sorry we were just in the middle of a few campaign games at the time.

No problem U1, I'll most probably be online later myself. Even though I lost more mechs and battles I'm really getting into this game. It's quite addictive once you start understanding how things work. I may have to start attending these supply drops where you can purchase more mechs.

How do people find out about these things as a lot of this info is not in the manual from what I can remember.

Had a 50-minute game tonight, as I was telling outspaced earlier. Absolutely fucking tense, totally outgunned, yet the MADSKILLZ of MadKiwi got us the win. How the fuck you decked that Vortex in a COLT and went on to take that base, I will never know...

Oh, another highlight of tonight was seeing a guy take out a fucking 3rd-gen with a SHEEPDOG.

I'm a bit behind on this topic but yeah you were my guinea pig for the plasma torch ;) Actually I find it tricky to change mid battle so I was glad I managed to do it. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're on a bridge or something though - the next time I tried it the guy just went behind me and shot the shit out me.

Anyway I'm enjoying the odd sessions, I'm slowly getting the hang of things but some players just decimate you in seconds, zooming right towards you and all hell breaks loose. I plan to be on over the weekend a bit though so hopefuly I'll improve a bit then.

Tonight I tried to use the sniper rifle on the Scare Face. Is that weapon useless or what? I couldn't figure out how to zoom in and out so I was stuck in one fixed zoom which didn't help. Also I had no other gun (if you have a secondary main weapon it's too heavy), meaning whenever I met someone I died. Worst gun ever (unless you tell me how to use it of course).
