An excellent thread topic. I have been unable to play any games on my PC for the past two weeks, due to a failure of the heatsink/fan combo over the CPU (which required a return to the supplier for repairs). Further to that, it now looks like I have a faulty graphics card.....and this will also need returning before I can get a replacement.

Not being able to play Deus Ex : Invisible War, Flight Unlimited 3, or the recently installed Far Cry is doing my head in !
