Has anyone had a corrupt save problem? Looks like I"m going to have to start the game over again.

It's an American retail copy running off the disc on a PAL chipped X-Box.

yeah, that's just happened to me

when I died it crashed, and now trying to load up my profile crashes the game

I'm gutted, not sure if I can be bothered playing through again, I was a good 6 hours in <_<

Nope. Bollocks.

I'm not so sure I want to play it all over again, only for it to corrupt my save file again. Is this a proper know problem then? Has anyone played it all the way through with saves, and it's been fine? (on a chipped box)

Play past that bit without dying, you'll be fine.

You can make a backup of your save before that bit if you wanted to be safe.

I'm on the bit where the bomb has gone off and you're there in the dark with the soldier and you can't go past him or you die and you can't fight him cause if he shoots you you instantly lose all your health. What do I do?? Is this far enough to be past the save bug?

Way past it.

Counter him and shoot him in the face.

oo, yeah. We need to establish which part causes the corruption. I'd been re-arrested and thrown in a cell, it was after the pit 'things'. I was standing next to my cell and there was a huge drop in front of me. On the other side of the drop there were other lines of cell and guards.

Is this the place? Do I need to play past all this before switching off?

Isn't that just as you first arrive in the mines?

It let me do that after 20 retries <_< Now I'm on a part where i've killed all the aliens but I can't get across the bridge and I can't find an exit, I'll fnd it though

Mine was after that, in the Upper Mines after the room with a mech and some guards.

Is the mines the bit before you go into the toilets area with the 'shined' eyes or after it?

I think so, you'll know when you get to it.

This bug is pretty bad, it seems to be affecting loads of people. It could just be a problem with chipped machines though, in which case we can't really complain.
