New Conker TRailer

Prine, am I looking at the same videos as you?

So you watch the Terminator pisstake and you think "wow, this really does look like the best looking game on Xbox"

And then the CGI ends and the horror that is in-game footage hits you. Bland textures, low-poly models

Those blood splatters look like bitmaps out of an N64 game.

Not impressed at all.

And to top it all off, it's delayed until next year. So that's 2 years of development for a game that looks like it's still on N64.

My N64 never looked like this

Not impressed. Neither funny or original.

Movie 'parody' is too easy and the teddy thing has been done (Fur Fighters).

Which came first? Fur Fighters or Conker's BFD? Cos the Tediz were in that as well.

I can't remember...might have been Fur Fighters?

Its funny really, if it wasn't for grabbed by the ghoulies, at this rate there would be more Rare games on Nintendo consoles this generation than Microsoft's.

If you count the GBA, there is!

Pretty shabby though. I mean how long has Kameo been in development for now? It better be f*cking excellent by the time they release it.

Burai, you watched a different trailer.

That link i preovided shows off about 4 seconds of the single player game which looks great. (Also shows off Outrun2)

The official trailer shows off multiplayer. Made me laugh, will be fantastic over live.

The graphics upgrade over a year has been worth it imo, they still have a few months left to sort out multiplayer, looked quite jerky.

Overall, very impressed.

And guys its not a port. Multiplayer is totally new with single player recievinf some bonus scenarios. Compare it to last years build then i'd think youd agree Rare have accomplished alot over a year.

Impressed that it took them 12 months to make a deathmatch game, with bland, N64-ish textures and appalling blood effects?

Not very likely.

Personally I can't tell if single player looks amazing from that video as it's both grainy and the size of a postage stamp. Quite why they'd go for two completely different engines for the different portions of the game I don't know. Could be CG cut-scenes? I don't know and from what I've seen, I don't care. I've been there and done that in terms of Conker. Heck, with Surreal 64, I'm doing it on my Xbox now.

There were far more impressive things in that montage and Conker looked incredibly weak in comparison.

Rare's E3? Ken Lobb must have lower standards than everyone else on the planet.

I can't believe that Conker and Kameo are the only games Rare is going to show this year. Last year they showed *exactly* the same two games and Grabbed by the Ghoulies. What on earth have they been doing for the last 12 months? FFS that's beyond ridiculous.
