Calling all 3 console owners

It varies really dependant on what games are available at the time.

At the moment for example I'm playing FFXI on the PS2 which takes up most of my time, but overall I've put many more hours into my Xbox.

So currently I am playing:

PS2 60%

Xbox 35%

GC 5%

Over the Lifespan of all the consoles:

Xbox 45%

PS2 35%

GC 20%

(obviously all guesstimates - but they do look kinda accurate of which I play most)

Hmm, its interesting to see that we all have our favourites ( although the GC does seem to be in last place, if not by much. )

Personally, I have played on My Xbox ( Hitman Contracts, Soul Calibur 2 and Rallisport Challenge ), PS2 ( Grandia 2, FF8, Singstar and Jade Cocoon 2 ) and DC (Shenmue) in the last 7 days.

My GC gets used for my Mrs playing Sonic Heroes and the occassional bout of WW - but thats it and it hasn't been touched in a few weeks.

XBox gets played the most, along with PC games.

Gamecube is gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere, as is my GBA SP.

PS2 was sold.

It's strange, I was really looking forward to the Gamecube but have found it to be quite disappointing whereas the XBox has managed to impress me and I didn't give it a chance before it's launch.

That is exactly how I feel. I had no interest in getting a Xbox at a time and after the fun I had with my N64 I was expecting something similar from the Gamecube which just never happened. I suppose I have high hopes for the Xbox 2 and it now has my own personal standards to live up to that have stemmed from my very positive experience of the original console. If it does not I could be critical of Microsoft in the same way I am of Nintendo now.

Thing with the Gamecube is, I bought it to play all the superb Nintendo games, and to be honest it hasn't really disappointed (WW, SMS, FZ and MP have made sure of that). But Double Dash was the last big Nintendo release in Europe, wasn't it? In November?

Yeah, that's probably why it's not getting much play time at the mo'. :)

<ahem>Pokemon Colosseum<ahem>

<ahem>May<ahem>

Folk on here might not be playing it, but it's been at #2 in the all-formats charts for a couple of weeks now (and is therefore comfortably outselling Ninja Gaiden in case anybody was wondering :) ).

You know, I genuinely believe that lots of folks will look back at the GC (and titles like Metroid, Wind Waker, Monkeyball, F-Zero, Pikmin, Eternal Darkness et al) and wonder how on earth it collected the criticism it did.

Sold the PS2, only played Gitaroo Man (which frustrated me due to the dead zones in the analogue stick, and general pad crappiness) and PES3.

I played Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution on the GameCube in multiplayer a lot, never in single player, and since I bought Future Tactics, I've been playing that a lot too. But I'd be playing that anyway if I bought the Xbox version, so I guess that doesn't count.

Xbox - TopSpin, Rainbow Six 3, PGR, all offline. And Counterstrike today too (just arrived <_<). And DVDs.

Does something different happen if you don't have the stick pushed all the way to the side? Am I missing out? <_<

PC gets the most use of all due to MMOGS.

console wise the Cube gets played most due to party/multiplayer games.

GBA SP gets a battering on the commute most days.

Xbox doesnt get played much anymore apart from MAME on it which doesnt really count, and lately halo for the billionth time after reading all the books on hols.

PS2 least out of the big 3

DC right behind that

Retro stuff, once in a blue moon.

No, it was fully pushed to the side. I moved it down to follow the line, and it spazzes out. Fucking useless. I tells you.
