I just re-seeded a bunch of the torrents today. The HTTP download that was available seems to be down (according to reports). Biglime indicates that some of the new supporters for CV have bandwidth to spare. It'll be interesting to see how it gets on if a single point of download is provided as opposed to BitTorrent. The problem with this sort of thing is that it's one big burst when the programme is released and then it tapers off quite quickly. However, everyone in the Universe wants to grab it the second it's released, which is why BitTorrent works so well. However, people are not willing to provide permanent seeds, which is why you then need to back it up with a single point of download or a permanent set of seeds (which is what I'm doing for the current episodes). Yes, they're bandwidth limited, but the permanent seeds are there. So many people have downloaded it, I'm surprised there aren't more seeds hanging of DSL or cable lines.

I just hope you're all prepared for some quality Cacky action, because we've got an Armored Core: Nexus game lined up. As for what else we're reviewing, it's all open to suggestion right now. First off, we need to iron out the production company stuff.

Thanks for the kind words though.

R.

If you review Singstar, and it has you singing Daniel Beddingfield (I've probably spelt that wrong) i'll watch it, and maybe even stop thinking you're a big rem.

I thought we were supposed to be friends now anyway?

Is it too late to review the roll-around-with-a-big-sticky-ball game? I sure hope it gets a PAL releasse, but just in case it doesn't I wouldn't mind seeing it in action.

I could always lend you my copy (if you have a PS2 that can play NTSC games that is). Alternatively I can knock up a gameplay footage video for you?

Very kind of you Cacky, but my PS2 is PAL only. Gameplay footage? Well, I'd certainly watch it if it was there (as long as it didn't give too much away), but it sounds like a bit of bother for you, and its probably not worth it just for me. I'm sure if I poke around with Google there'll be something on the web already.

Roll on, Sticky ball PAL release! (crosses fingers)

Well, I have video capture stuff and it's already all connected. So it isn't really a bother. Up to you.

If I were you , I wouldn't bother. I don't think its worth the effort just for me: I'm sure I'll get to see it at a meet or something even if it doesn't come out over here. Thanks for the offer, though, you're a gent.

How about reviewing games that aren't on the PS2 for a change........

Or how about doing a multi-format title on each format, pointing out the differences?

Or how about getting that smug block from G-Force as a regular. And see what else he won't hunt.
