squirtle
Didn't you win the one I provided for the hi-score challenge at the Bath meet? No. And if I did win then someone nicked it! Nicked it, I say! But seriously, no.

Lovelyman
Hmmm. I wonder who did. Can anyone else remember? I don't think that many people entered - something about Halo linkup. Or GTA3. EDIT - Can I just say that the Blue 'Elite' T-Shirt pwns the khaki one. My T-Shirt turned up about 6 weeks after I subscribed if that makes anyone feel better. Keyboard Koala
Since this topic has gone from E139 to Hamtaros and T-shirts, I guess I could ask something completely unrelated too: Is Ben Isaacs (from this forum) the same guy who made it in last month's EGM, with his amateur movie? About Castlevania, you pervs!
Lovelyman
I would hope so.
TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
Hmmm. I wonder who did. Can anyone else remember? I subscribed for the second time to Edge last month, and I'm still not getting a T-shirt or binder even though I have to pay 20 quid more due to living overseas and all that. What about that, huh? We pay more, have to wait for weeks and don't get anything at all. Future Publishing: The Nintendo of the Magazine world.

TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
Have you tried ringing Future subs? I've sent multiple mails about late delivery in the past, and I always get the answer that all the subs-copies go out at the same time. Which I don't believe, because Play.com and even Canadian outfits like VideoGamePlus can send me stuff within 5 working days, while Edge usually takes 2 weeks or more. The only consolation I've got is that when I buy it in the shops, it's even MORE expensive and takes 3 weeks or more to arrive. Basically, there's not a damn thing I can do about it unless they take their overseas subs seriously. But why would they? It's not like we can go anywhere else. Lovelyman
That's odd. I'm sure it would cost them more to segregate the subs and ship them at different dates rather than all at once.

TheSlugFormerlyKnownAsNap
It could be that they ship the 'export' copies at the same time as the export copies going to stores abroad or something? If my copy comes WITH DVD I've got proof I get from the second run I suppose...

Jim Miles
Napole0n are you sure the free gifts applied to overseas subscriptions? Many offers like that only apply to the country the magazine is based in. I could easily check this since I'm never more than 2 seconds grabbing distance from an issue of Edge but then I wouldn't have anything to say. Jumble Jumble
I actually prefer the khaki t-shirt, which seems to completely mystify everyone. I just think it's got a cool design. The blue one has grown on me though. I have both by the way, due to the generosity and good memory of Mr. Mott. I think these last three issues (including the newest one) have been the best I've ever read. The magazine is really fun to read now and fills me with enthusiasm. Hitcher
Mine still isn't here Mine neither. I'm beginning to wonder whether they found a problem with the DVD at the last minute and had to rip open loads of sub copies to remove them, hence everyone who's got their copy had the package opened. Maybe the later ones will come intact with the disc.

Caleb Newcastle
Further to all the talk of missing dvds and torn packages I have put my postman skills to task and come up with the following hypothesis. Maybe the reason the envelopes have all been damaged is because Future gave us the free copies of OPSM and Total Film thus making the usual magazine size packets too big for all the usual sorting frames/machines/letterboxes. In a hilarious turn of events I too have received a damaged envelope complete with OPSM and Total Film. However mine came minus my FUCKING COPY OF EDGE!!! So now I have to wait for a replacement copy of the magazine I actually want while two mags I wouldn't even wipe my arse on kick around my floor. Smashing. Note to Future: stop this. Either give us the option to opt out of this crap on your web-site or at least get your demographic profiling right. OPSM2? Christ!
Icebox
Argh, funny, yet... horrible. I have to agree though - I can't understand why the Future people choose to put free copies of OPS2 with Edge, as you say the demogrpahics are completely different. I tried reading the PS2 mag yesterday and had to give up as it's so terrible. Are Future actually expecting any subscribers to OPS2, from those who already subscribe to Edge? Mk.
Hmmm. I wonder who did. Can anyone else remember? The competition didn't run in the end, and last I heard the T-Shirt was going to be put up for a charity auction towards rllmuk upkeep. It was a nice T-Shirt too, I touched it at one point... Which I think is very unfair. We help feeding TM and his children just as much as you UK faggots. We even have to pay 50% more to cover postage (while play.com can send their stuff for free).
