Wait, everywhere else gets it before us. As in those countries that need it dubbing / subtitled? Why do we have to wait? Did they put NOE in charge of the distribution?

its because Harry FUCKING potter comes out on the 4th and they did'nt want to compete against it, typical

I'm never coming back on this thread after the 4th, gotta keep clear of TF stuff til the 27th will be hard

Well less than 24 hours to go!!!!

I've just spent the whole weekend working on the full feature presentation tomorrow night in Sydney.

Michael Bay will be there, along with Megan Fox and Rachael Taylor. I'm getting very excited.

Pointless Transformer facts that I have learnt today...

- Blitzwing the Decepticon triple changer joined the Autobots by betraying Galvatron

- The ongoing debate as to whether Cyclonus is really Skywarp or Bombshell continues.

- The three ladybird audio cassette books were called Autobots' Lightning Strike, Megatron's Fight For Power and Laserbeak's Fury

- Starscream can reach a top speed of Mach 2.8

- Sunstreaker is one of the few original Autobots to have survived the attack on Autobot City

- Soundwave has a photographic memory, can read minds and it is generally thought that his head was the inspiration for the design of the Decepticon symbol

- There was a rumoured Decepticon Matrix of Leadership in one of the animated cartoons

Fascinating!

I had Laserbeak's Fury. I think it is the only Transformers merchandise I ever owned.

Actually the transformers originated from another toyline, called Diaclone.

And Soundwave was NOT the first one designed, the first "transformer" was a big jetfighter thing.

please don't say jetfire/skyfire? :lol:

I'll say a few things.

1) Don't download the movie. It has to be seen on the big screen. HAS TO!

2) I took 70 people from gaming forums and websites across Australia to the screening in Sydney through competitions I ran.

3) Not one of them, including people from Transformers dedicated forums, were disappointed.

4) Michael Bay like my Transformers T-Shirt

5) I'm not really allowed to review the movie right now.

BUT, my childhood came alive this evening. I watched a movie full of humour, the best special effects I have seen, and a fun storyline. Everyone I spoke to afterwards loved it.

In the words of Megan Fox before the screening: "You'll love this movie. It's the shit. It rocks" and yes she did do this \m/ \m/

More Pointless Transformer Facts I have learnt today...

- Optimus Prime used to be called Orion Pax in the animated continuity and worked down at the docks.

- Astrotrain is called Triplex1 in Italy

- Springer is named for the massive leaping power that resides in his legs

- Blaster was captured and tortured by Grimlock when he took leadership of the Autobots in the marvel comics

- Shockwave is a 35 foot long raygun and commands the totality of the electromagnetic spectrum

- Wheeljack was the first ever transformer to me shown in animated cartoon

- Reflector is made up of Spectro, Spyglass and Viewfinder and could only be purchased through mail order by gaining enough points of the back of boxes

So it's completely finished then? Don't want to ask about it, but....

How's the sound? Visual effects look great from the trailers but I really want this film to have big metal-on-metal sound effects and cool distorted robot voices.
