M.M. hasn't been in this thread at all which means hes probably forgot completely. Have you PM'd him at all Looper? Maybe that onus should be on me - I dunno.

Anyhoo, if people dont get one then Ill either send them mine for this month or try and get the previous person in the chain to send their CD again, but to you.

Obviously Ill have to scrub the person off from next months list.

i' formally withdraw this month - im about to move house and it ain't gonna happen

so i wrote a pm to the guy sending me one and told him to send it the guy i'm supposed to send to.

he said 'OK'.

the_debaser's CD arrived yesterday and it was well worth the wait: Lots of good tracks, and lots of tracks by bands that I've heard a few songs by, and liked them, but never followed them up.

My only complaint would be the ordering - there are a few jarring jumps in style between some of the tracks.

Of the ones I hadn't heard before, my favorite tracks so far are probably Machine Head - Davidian, Bush - Glycerine and Dinosaur JR - Freak Scene (although that one stops half way through, unfortunately).

Ill post the track list when youve heard it. Im only doing it this way because I missed a track off by accident. quickly did it at my mates house cos my burners fucked. And that way you dont think oh no i dont like that band.

Skimmed it tonight. Sorry Seedy, thought it was Le Sai's, having trouble keeping up!

Track 1 was great, dream theatre? I knew a couple of artists, did I hear deftones, or sick of it all? Smashing pumpkins of course.

Really liked most of what I heard, as did the girlf!

Really made me want to get out some rock, which I have been lacking in lately.

Which was the track you didn't mean? Was it the Leena Marliny one?

Track one was a band called Mare The track is they sent you

No Deftones or sick of it all.

And track 3 was ment to be a two parter. That was from autumn to ashes with autumns monolouge. The second part is called the fiction we live.

And it wasnt smashing pumkins neither. It was a band called poison the well. Same song of course.

I've seen Poison the well I think, they were with airplanes fall from the sky or something.

Will def listen again soon though, really liked what I heard (about 30 secs - 1 min of each track so far)

Brilliant, basically The only track on there that seemed out of place was the one after the Beach Boys. Well thrashy kind of thing. It seemed like a bit of a jarring contrast.

Most of the music on there was vaguelly familiar - there was one or two tracks on there that I already know and love, but I reckon that was the kind of mix of music that I don't usually listen to that I was hoping for. Nice one
