Some good games last night, well at least when it was working as it managed to crash my Xbox 3 times last night. I also have to say that it's funny watching people who can't get in keep trying, but as I found out last night it's not funny when it happens to you. :)

I had my first go on this last night (six hours straight!) and didn't have too many problems. Well, apart from being booted a few times and my Xbox crashing 3 times.

I spent the first hour or so languishing at the back with the message "you are 15 seconds behind" regularly appearing. Then I hit my stride and it got much better. Thanks to everyone in my games!

Last night was brilliant... good stable racing. I haven't had any real problems on Live since the first night though.

Shame to see my rank had plummeted from 2000 to >8000 since Sunday though...

Al least you have a ranking, mine seems to have disappeared altogether. :)

I found online plays differently to single player, its a lot harder to get take downs and the roads seem to be busier with more cars. Anyone else agree?

Totally, It's so easy to take cars down offline but online it's really hard, it seems that the only car I can takedown is mine. It does seem busier but I don't know if it is busier or because when racing online you have to concentrate more on your opponents than you do offline so it's easier for those bloody taxi's to creep up on you.

Takedowns are of course much harder. If human players were as easy to take down as CPU players then the online game would be a disaster, you wouldn't be able to drive any distance at all before being taken out.

I don't think the traffic is any different, but traffic densities go up (and there are more big rigs, buses etc.) as you make progress through the single player, maybe you're playing on track variations online you haven't opened up yet.

why the bugger is noone ever online with this game? I find its an awesome laugh online but none of you guys are ever around. What gives?

You know about the rllmuk room thing, right? People always seem to be on when I',m looking for a game. I',m not on as much as I',d like because of real life (and last night, Outrun 2).
