Went to see it last night. Good fun in a throwaway sort of way, unsurprisingly. Bettany is very good and there's some nice shots of Brighton. The tennis scenes were good too, and Johnny Mac absolutely makes the movie.

Good fun, so long as you know what to expect. If you like your slushy romantic comedies, you'll love it. If you don't, you won't

Saw the Cast & Crew Screening @ The Odeon, Leicester Square yesterday morning.

Thoroughly enjoyed it - it's a romantic comedy and in the same vein as other brit comedies of recent times.

Paul Bettany is great it in too as the tennis player in his twilight years.

Just wish they'd shown more of Kirsten in the buff!

I'm surprised they've put this film out now, rather than coinciding it with next year's Wimbledon. Considering how many people pick up a racket during Wimbledon fortnight, they'd have been assured a large audience.

For this sort of film, yes, not sure that's true for your "summer blockbuster" eg. Spiderman et al

Seen the trailer, and it look an interesting film to watch. I probably pick it up on DVD cheap next Spring/Summer.
