99.99999999999% not. But its worth a try. Sometimes they honor the first few but HMV online are generally crap at doing anything order wise. Bet it becomes 'Out of stock' For everyone who ordered it at £5 and is on back order at the suppliers forever.

No, because you havent actually completed a contract. All their emails will state something like 'Your interest in this item has been registered'. Basically the order is only complete (and the contract between you and the shop complete) when they actually take money out of your account.

Does anyone know if we will have stat tracking on the halo 3 beta?

While I am in the top 10 on the list above I played yesterday for the first time since July last year and only got a 1.5 in rumble training ;).

Also will the stas be merged? or as suggested from bungies website will there be a different section for Halo 3?

Probably, there's already a section for the Halo 3 stats after that bungie.net update, unless they've just got that set up and ready for the release at the end of the year but I'd guess it's for the beta.

Probably because they listed it at £39.99. And, unlike HMV, I suspect they'll probably honour it. They haven't cancelled my preorder at any rate - it's still there at the cheap price in my open orders section.

I've never owned an xbox, played through Halo 1 on co-op years ago and really enjoyed it.

I plan on getting a 360 around Xmas with a new HDTV, is it worthwhile borrowing my mates xbox and playing through Halo 2 (and maybe halo 1 again) ?

It's worth playing through Halo2 if you're getting Halo3, just to follow the story.

Just rent 'Little Shop of Horrors' out and make shooting noises over the top, taking cover behind the couch now and again.

That'll dovetail in perfectly.

Er. A bit off topic I know, but something just popped into my head. Can anyone remember back to 2005, there was an April 1st version of a Bungie update, that caused massive, massive outrage in the forums. Anyone remember what it said? Was just thinking about joke stories for April Fools and I realised I never found out what it was.
