My mistake - it's PS2 and Xbox only. Starts today (8th) until Sunday 10th.

The last time PC World had one of these I went down there and got the distinct impression all the new titles had been taken of the shelves for the weekend....

I just had a look on their website and there doesn't seem to be anything you couldn't get for around 25 quid anyway, nothing really new there, no Outrun2, Fable, Fifa2005, THUG2 etc :) Maybe the stores carry new games.

I'd still head down and check it out if I were you. Last time I heard about one of these deals, I was surprised to find no mention of it in-store. A quick word with one of the assistants, however, revealed that they were indeed offering the deals.

My local one had Fable, but they require you present the voucher with you when you buy a game to give you the offer.

I think the voucher is in the Sun or something. Not sure. So I missed out :).

Also they had no Outrun2 in my local one (Ipswich).

Go back and beat them around the head and body very hard indeed. NO voucher is needed. It's simply an advert in the paper and clearly states ALL PS2 and Xbox games.

I just read on another forum that you can get Fable for £25 if you have todays Daily Star as there will be a voucher on page 33. I'm going to pop down to my local news agents to check if they have any more papers right now.

I tried two PC Worlds last night. You're Ok if you want THUG2, Burnout 3 or older games.

Not much else though - one of the blokes said the store had been seen a load of people taking advantage of the offer and a lot of the new stuff had sold out by mid afternoon.

Neither store had Fable. My wife managed to pick up the new Crash Bandicoot game, but only on PS2 and only after trying two sotres.
