Fuck off! The Firefly theme tune is great! :D

The original Enterprise theme is bad, but the remixed one for season 3 was even worse with its guitar and drum beat. :P

Yes the season 3 remix is fucking terrible, I couldn't believe how they made that godawful theme tune worse. I'm still hoping that the new season (which started Friday in the USbut due to wierdness of my local TV, I don't get to see until 11pm tonight), will have a new intro.

Oh I'm also hoping that the program won't be shit too.

We always used to think it sounded like the guy who used to sing in the Budweiser Real American Heroes adverts, it was kind of unintentionaly funny. :D

The remix ruined our humour and killed my mum. :P *

Yeah - I saw some reviews of the first episode of season 4 (still a good 6 hours before its on here) and they were of the 4/10 variety. Although apparently it might get better as the new guy running the show digs Enterprise out of the stupid "Alien Nazi" hole.

I swear TV stations want me to download stuff. So I don't get UPN here for some reason (I have cable) so it wasn't on Friday night, but Fox showed it last night at 11pm. Or did they, I turned on the Tivo this morning to find 1 hour of Baseball, which of course they knew would overrun, it always does, and there is no rescheduled showing of the episode that was missed.

Anyway you're right the enterprise theme is extremely crappy. Just when I thought that I'd gotten used to it they went and made it even worse (something I once thought would be impossible). The music at the end of the episodes is ok though, they should just write something like that for the start. Or get rid of the words from "Faith of the Heart" and just play the music. I don't know why they havent changed the music yet, I've never talked to a star trek fan who didn't hate it, are they(the makers) just stubborn or what?

AT least you got Season 3 and a TV Station making claims to show Season 4. Over here SVT showed Season 1, then said they had bought Season 2 but had no idea when they were going to show it, but at the latest it would be early 2004. By late spring/early summer 2004 they decided to show it twice a week to get it out of the way. By the time it got to the last episode of Season 2 they decided they probably wouldn't show any more, so ever since the last episode of Season 2, which they didn't show as it basically kicked of Season 3, I have had to download.

And this is in the country which I am told has only shown the first half of Season 1 of DS9, by far the best Star Trek series ever.

Yes - well as I live in the country its made in you'd think that would give me a better chance of seeing it than people in Sweden, but apparently not. My guess is that Fox won't show any episodes of it until after the World Series, so I don't know why they say they're going to.

The thing about that is that Manny Coto, the cheif writing guy for this new season and writer of some of the best eps last season, said that whole stupid thing was Berman and Braga's idea so hopefully they won't have too much input on the writing side as the season progresses. In the webchat transcript on www.startrek.com Coto says he basically just had to think of an idea to get out of the stupid situation in the season opener.
