Halo 2

First of all, i have paid for 2 versions of halo 2.

The special Tin and the normal version, so for me its the same as a demo disk like i have said before.

I will not be playing single player, cause its in french. I will be mainly seeing what stuff is avaliable that bungie have denied us.

Info like online co-op ? split screen co-op ? how many levels ? how the health system works. Yes i will be playing some of the multiplayer levels tonight with some mates but then most people have allready played Zanzebar in one way or another.

I look at it as a demo.

You won't though. You'll play it to the exclusion of everything else, look for every possible little fault, become disillusioned, post threads about how rubbish it is, and cencel your order(s).

It happens every f***ing time and it's just so depressing to watch.

well i own one quarter of halo2, so NER NER.

Bungie are going to whip yo' ass real bad

I am really, REALLY, disappointed that this has been leaked and Bungie/Microsoft will have to get medieval on some people.

I will stick with my Halo 1 PC multiplayer mode for now but I am mighty peeved that tens of thousands of people, if not more, will be playing this game 3-4 weeks before I will

The Live mode will now also pose some real problems with idiots screaming down the mic on how superb the single player is, and giving away major plot points, before I have even started on it  I guess its a case of single player mode 11-13 November and then I may venture Online, after uncovering most, if not all of the single player.

I share your concerns, but it's not too hard to avoid the idiots on Live really.

Stick to people on your friends list & RLLMUK until you've played the 1 player game and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Well normally i'd be one of the first to use this method of getting a game early, but not this time.

i remember buying my US import Xbox 3yrs ago with a copy of Halo, and once again want to reward Bungie with my cash.

The first Halo has given me so much entertainment over the last 3yrs, no way am i gonna cheat Bungie, on something they have been so hard at work..

This may sound a bit self righteous, but there are some games which absolutely deserve to be paid for and savoured the old fashioned way, because most of the other games i have "obtained" simply get played for an hour then taken out the disc tray, never to be played again, you simply dont appreciate games the same way if you havent paid for them.

November 11 cant come soon enough for that special edition tin to drop through the letterbox.

Agreed * 100. I'd say the reaction to this by the community may be even more unfavourable than when Half Life 2 was leaked.

I also have 2 copies on pre-order. I just want to have a look at it in motion

This is a real shame. It damages the 'shared experience' of playing it on release day and knowing for sure that thousands of other gamers are just starting out as well.

Whoever said it's like opening your Xmas presents a month early got it spot on.

actually, if it wasnt for bittorrent i'd never have bought riddick, metal arms or psi ops. Its had the opposite effect on me.

How the fuck do you lot get such fast torrent downloads? For me it always takes 3 or 4 days to get a game.

Just one other thing. i really REALLY dont think it was a journo who leaked this. Firstly they'd be too worried that their copy is individually watermarked, and secondly the pressing plant is a much more likely source of a leak.

Also, it takes a lot longer than a weekend to press a million disks. Let alone 3 or 4 million
