Fuck me, the new X-Men book is utter bilge. I know expectations after Hickman's run were never going to be met but it's easily the worst of the 'new' X family (probably tied with X-Corp which I ditched sharpish).

How this is continuing and titles like Hellions aren't, is a mystery.

Which X-title are you talking about?.

Is that the one where the core X-Men team moved to New York? I read the first couple of issues and dropped it. Awful. Especially compared to Hellions and X-Factor

Yeah, that's the one. It's just so..directionless.

Hickman finished/is finishing his X-writing duties with the 4 issue Inferno series that is on #2 ATM. The main X-book (X-Men) stopped and then relaunched 5 or 6 months ago? (I dunno, boredom=not caring about it). The best thing about it is the art (Pepe Larraz who is one of the best working at Marvel IMO) and the roster is interesting, but despite that it's pure magnolia.

Holy crap Netflix made an anime version of Supercrooks?.

Yep. They signed a deal where they'll eventually publish some stuff with him too.

Not fussed by SC didn't think much to the book, but I will watch Superior when they get to it just to see that Monkey take the piss out of Billy Batson.

This Trial of Magneto series really should be investigated under the trade description act.

it’s also TERRIBLE

Yeah, I really don't know where they're going with it and to launch it only a few weeks in front of Inferno is just the most bizarre scheduling ever.

Hellions is the single rose* in the garden of shit that is the current X-line.

*and possibly S.W.O.R.D

There’s a Marvel Unlimited app which has most of their back catalogue & runs new releases about 3 or 4 months behind current books. I don’t think the DC one is available over here yet as it’s tied into the HBOMax subscription, so don’t expect it for a couple of years at least.

there is also a ComiXology subscription service that isn’t available in the UK yet either for reasons unknown, but you can probably get around that if you do a US Amazon account & a VPN

X-Men, the monthly Duggan one. It's bin juice in comic form.

Is that the one where he reporter guy is making a big deal out of cyclops coming back from the dead, even though this happens all the time to superheroes?

That's the one. Ben Ulrich who has seen multiple Spider-Man's, Green Goblins, resurrections out the arse, hordes of Avengers all coming back and is suddenly shocked to his core that mutants have beaten death somehow and is fearful of what that means for humanity, the same humanity who stood by and watched Sentinels kill 16 million mutants in Genosha with nary a shrug.

It's a shit storyline for bar the art, a shit comic.
