Managed to pick up the last copy at Comet today (praise be the staff discount!) and I'm just about to have my first try out of the game.

Think I'd better have a quick bash at the single player mode first, but do add me to any game later tonight. I'll definetly be around for a fair old while thats for sure.

Enjoyed the games tonight. Apologies to anyone who couldn't get in - we moved to a different game after a bit, and I didn't know the host.

Sorry Noopacity - I tried to get you in to the game, but by the time a space had opened you'd headed offline. When you came back online I was going to bed.

Um, sorry to anyone else who messaged me. Quickly 'typing' messages inbetween games is pretty difficult.

Thanks very much all. Excellent fun. I am still teh shit, but improving slowly. Hopefully my communicator will turn up tomorrow (come on amazon!) so I'll no longer be mute. :)

Every part of this post is exactly true for me as well. Just thought I'd point that out.

Is it necessary to do these with Halo 2?

I mean we knew nothing about this and were just finishing off the EA18 Halo 2 meet (Friday-Sunday non stop Halo 2) over Live and we played with loads of forum people.

Although some only popped in before popping out. Soong jumped into a CTF of capture the flag, and the jumped out again just before we scored the winner.

Apologies, to anyones game that I joined from Friday morning onwards. Had the day off and wanted to spend most of it online but (after major investigation and tweaking), found that it was actually by BB connection that was playing up for the whole weekend (thanks BT).

I was unable to hear any communication and had just one red bar for connection ping. A s uch I was the guy wandering around maps like a idiot, shooting at nothing and keeping very quiet.

So, If I was not replying to voice comms that is why, I could not hear anybody. In the end I gave up and tried to connect on Sunday afternoon, what do you know it is working fine, but I only had half hour before I was due to go out. SO overal, IU have no idea how good HALO 2 is online, but will be back on tonight to join up with some of teh clan, I know I will be a bit behind everybody else, but as this is a noobs clan, hopefully, you won't mind showing me the ropes on capture the flag, oddball games etc....

Bloody work though taking me away from my Halo2.

I am having serious withdrawals from this to be honest multiplayer is just so much fun.

Tell me about it, we have hit a real busy period in work at the minute, 9 - 7.30 most days. Nothing I like more than to come home to a nice relaxing kill-fest on halo, lol. Im sure Ill be on at some point during the night, keep an eye out for me!
