Guys, I know some of you get your broadband with Freedom2Surf like me, so this might interest you......

Freedom2Surf has today announced that it will be one of the first ISPs to offer consumers super-fast broadband services at speeds of up to 24Mbit. Freedom2Surf’s new 8Mbit and 24Mbit services, will be up to 48 times faster than standard broadband packages, allowing consumers to experience a completely new range of services such as Internet TV.

Freedom2Surf is today launching its 8Mbit Connect Package which will be immediately available from just £14.99 a month. As well as significantly faster downloads of music and video files, ultra-fast broadband will enable consumers to take advantage of Internet TV (IP-TV) services which are set to launch in the second half of the year.

Consumers will be able to access services allowing them to purchase films and music videos on a pay-per-play basis, with the potential to transform home entertainment. A number of content providers are expected to take advantage of ultra-fast broadband to challenge the dominance of players such as Sky, Telewest, NTL and Home Choice.

Chris Panayis, managing director of Freedom2Surf, commented: "Consumers across Europe and the US have long enjoyed ultra high-speed broadband and we are committed to leading the broadband speed revolution in the UK. The promise of Local Loop Unbundling is finally delivering, and consumers as a result will be able to enjoy 24Mbit broadband for the same price as many are paying for bog standard 1Mbit services.

Think I've only ever lost connection twice, been very happy with them for the last two years or so, I think Pootle and Pob use them as well. The best site for comparing isp's is http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ and it's worth having a look in the forums on there for each ISP, to see who gets the most complaints!

There's also a F2S support site that's independently run by some of the F2S staff that's really hepful here http://www.freedom2support.net/ .

Yea I used f2s - have been for the past 5 years or so. Very good ISP. I only lost connection once and that was when the whole net went down in London a few years ago.

That's great news about what f2s are going to implement. Now to buy a bigger HDD for this damn PC for future d/l's....

f2s are consistently ranked in the top 10 ISP's. Their monthly contract is what swayed me into choosing them in the first place. The actual upload/ download speed is faster than what's specified somewhat and I've never had any problems with them technical wise.

They also usually activate the account before the date they give by a few days which is a small bonus.

I propose we go for a 5 v 5 match, over best of 5 games.

With Subs inbetween games allowed.

Not really, 5 v 5 is normally fairly stable with everyone being UK based.

Maybe if one of them are not wanting to play though we could have them in the game as a sort of dedicated server.
