Hahaha. Have I got some stats for you

Okay so it might be a small lie but I'll give it my best shot!

Stats don't mean anything anyway - sure it's great for 'indicative purposes only' but people have good and bad games all the time whereby they may perform like a god one match then be mediocre the next, etc.

Seems to me only Kerraig's Team is capable of being highly consistent which is a testament to their nerves of steel. Just watching them play is freaky enough! <_<

to me thebigboss, you are a nobody.

hahahaha...

also NatDan is Mr. Spews brother so nerrr....

Swords aren't for the lesser skilled - I thought they were crap at first but face it, in a slayer match a lot of people go for the sword!

Anyways you were supposed to have gone to bed like 10mins ago so go already! <_<

What happens to people in our clan who haven't played much? When they come to join a matchmaking game, aren't they going to be way out of their depth? I guess the more experienced members of the team can support them and assign them roles.

EDIT: oh, and what's happened to Stroker Ace? Does he not want to play with us any more?

If there are a few, get them to team skirmish together to get used to the game types and to get pitted against players of similar skill / levels

Yeah, it is a good point. I think what will happen is that we will eventually get to the stage were we have a set nucleus of regulars (the larger that nucleus is the better though) , but I am hoping that the others still manage to get on and join us enough to keep their hand in at it.

Everyone has different priorities and wont be able to get on as much as others. But I think we all know Halo isnt just gonna a 2 week Live fad, its here for the long haul, and so hopefully will the clan.

So in short Im sure over the piece everone will develop their skills sufficientlly to be able to do their part when called upon.

Dunno, was Stroker online last night?

That's a good idea. I'm certainly one of those who needs to get to know the maps...tactics I think will develop and be shaped by those who play most and I guess it's a matter of doing as we're told when in a serious game!

Any other Roll Muck members who need some practice let me know and we can try some Team Skirmishing. At the moment I'm just playing Slayer to get some basic skills down.

Almost half an hour of relentless killing and mayhem .

The mother of all midship assault games.

That's the one.

At least the Optimatch seems to work wel, we were both so evenly matched it was unbelievable. :o

And what a pleasure it was at the end when, instead of the usual 'American tirade of insults' they said what a great game it was. :D

Level 1 to level 7 in one night, not bad guys.

Tis a good idea - it'll also help you to get to know the weapons. I found a great new 'two hit combo' by accident last night - I waited for a guy to come round the corner, them I pumped a shotgun round right into his chest followed immediately by a melee - instant death!

Another tip is to look at the map photos in the stats on Bungie's site. Some of the views name the different areas (such as 'rock garden' on Coagulation), which is useful for communications purposes.

Is anyone playing tonight? I'm up for a game around 8pm for a couple of hours.

I think a few of us are aiming to get on for 9.30 if you can manage that?

Can wait to get back on tonight! This life outside of the internet isnt all its cracked up to be, once you have seen one stripper you have seen them all. But evey game of Halo is different! B)

It was ridiculously evenly matched. We pretty much match each other kill for kill, to be fair it really should have ended a draw.

Edit - 123 medals between us. Nice. I'm also not sure how we managed to completely avoid betrayals, some of those firefights were crazy.

There must be something of an 'anti-autoaim' for teammates because I was going off in there like the US army. By the way, the guy with the bomb that we couldn't find for a few minutes, was sitting in one of the high gangways not far from our base. He got a bit of a scare when I stumbled in on him, although I did get knocked on the head by the bomb a few times during the game. The carriers are not exactly helpless.

I'll be on tonight too, so we could try some more major clangames.
