*Shrugs* We like it, and its what me Pob and u1 decided on.

If its a shit game, so be it, they cant all be classics. We hate Slayer, but there you go.

They should just be thankful we didnt go with the original plan of Territoies on Lockout! :D

I sort of forgot there would be 16 of us!

That would be better at least it would be partly down to killing and not pure spawn luck

I don't really like slayer but there's at least a skill to it.

I don't mean to come accross so harsh, I'm sure as a whole it will be great fun tonight

To be fair, I'm not sure that having 16 people running around Ascension is going to be that great either.

We really ought to be doing huge CTF games, but apart from Coag and Zanzibar, I don't really know any of the maps well enough :D

Who's 'we'? I hate it.

It's a total lottery, based purely on chance and dumb fucking luck.

Well that told us! :D

Seriously though I cant understand why Territories is that bad. Surely something like Crazy King is much more dependant on luck and respawns.

Can I just say as well that I dont care what EVT say, they cheated on Ascension, we knew they were going to do it, hence us trying to find the hiding place prior to the game, but we found a different one.

They used a decent on tactic on the bridge the hiding the guy on the ledge aside, which I had suggested myself. Oh well <_<

I think it shows that each time was best on there favoured game type, with the neutral game of CTF zanzi settling it. Which I actually thought we would do really well on, think the 16 player aspect of that through us.

I know it sounds like I am clutching at straws. Its cause I am ;)

Its not cheating. Its part of the map. Plus I thought EVERYBODY knew about that ledge? N000bs

We dont go looking for stuff like that. Reminds me of the sort of peoiple who go into maps on their own for ages and fly round in banshees looking for places to try and wedge into snipe from.

Anyway, we will be ready for that NEXT TIME!!!! <_<

Yeah, I don't do that but when you play against people who do you pick up all things like that.

A Sniper or a Rocket would've sorted them out <_<

We weren't on the ledge long really. Just wandering around the base going 'where do I go?' While carnage went off around it. We eventually got it on there but only for 1min 30 I'd say

It doesn't matter that much, you would have won that game anyway, it's just a shame you felt the need to cheapen your victory <_<.

Sorry to be a traitor here, but I don't think standing on a hard-to-reach ledge is cheating or exploiting a glitch. The ball carrier certainly wasn't impossible to reach - I saw him a couple of times but got cut down way before I had a chance to kill him. It's a very well-entrenched position that would take good co-ordination to take. You'd need to snipe or rocket the guy, at the same time making sure there are team members in the bowl to pick up the respawning ball.

And passing the flag through the gate isn't a glitch either. It's not as if it's passing through a wall or anything. It's a gate (not a door) for a reason.

Cheers

I think its great that we can have stupidly competitive games but still remain sporting* about it all.

*.....despite using ledges and dodgy gate tactics on CTF :D

Please don't tell me you fell for the flag through the locked gate on zanzi trick. After all the things I've written about it, especially as a tactic worth considering for at least one try.

No, we did that one actually. Afterwards it was all like, "you cheated on oddball!" "but you cheated on Zanzibar!" :D
