And passing the flag through the gate isn't a glitch either. It's not as if it's passing through a wall or anything. It's a gate (not a door) for a reason.

Indeed - just think back to the sneakiness of throwing it through the 'gate' on Sidewinder back in the day.

I know of the ledge in Ascension, but have yet to take advantage of it myself - where abouts is it?

It's a ridge on the stairway to the right (as you are looking out) of the base-like structure (on the opposite end of the map to the open-air sniper tower). I think you can get onto the outside of the staircase and crouch on a little ridge, making you very hard to shoot most angles. You can get a clear shot from the low walkway where the overhshield spawns (near the banshee platform), but it's a complete bottle-neck down there and very easy to defend with grenades.

We thought the hiding spot was way down below this structure, on a slope right down by the 'instant death' point at the botton of the map. We were praticing getting people down there last night in case that's where EVT were headed (we knew they were planning something sneaky). To be honest, it's pretty easy to get down there and probably not the best place to hide.

Neither of our clan's cheated, as I knew about the flag through the gate trick, and told everyone before asking if I could open the gate on Zanzibar, but everyone told me not to open it.

And taking the ball to that ledge isnt exactly easy with 8 people trying to kill you enroute, and can easily be taken back by someone shooting the ball carrier with a rocket launcher.

Cant believe it take a three clan collabaroation to match the strength in depth we have!

I don't know what games you were playing but when it was the improvisational talents of 3 Amazing Squad 3 Om Yom and 2 EVT members, against your 8, we totally pwned you over and over.

Considering we never really play as a team together, I'd say that was pretty good.

But yeah, Amazing Squad would be happy to play you guys any time at all. We are more powerful than you could ever imagine.

Good vids, can't help feeling they're a little too cheesey but conversely I'm probably going to have to give them a go. I think the game would be better without them though. Ok, all decent teams will learn them and how to neutralise them but it's just going to widen the gap between good teams and anal good teams. Fair play to you, in an evil kind of way for using one of them.

That's a little too kind of you there my good man but it's nice to pull that one off even against a good team. I would still challenge the logic of a defending team opening the gate too early though, you just have to be vigilant at the get go.

Representatives of Roll Muck (+1) did their team proud tonight against random people as well as alongside random people, winning at least 5 matches, drawing one game and losing one.

I think we can safely say we're pretty good at CTF and multibomb on Coag now - having played it upteen times :(

Nice games indeed, shame about the 'special' American kid that took me for a ride in the warthog and raced round the enemy base for minutes oblivious to the teams' needs and my cries of 'pick up the bomb carrier please (gradually getting less and less polite...)'. Can you actually jack a teammate out of a hog? The same guy wouldn't vacate the passenger seat for the bombcarrier later on until some very hard persuading.

And on the other side of this coin a guy with flag was taking 3 quarters of coag to realise me driving slowly alongside him, saying 'get in bombcarrying guy', taking loads of flak and honking was meant to get him inside the bloody hog...

It frustrated me a bit :(

Yea I was on foot when you were telling him to basically fuck off out of the vehicle and stop driving round like a loon.

We were okay as a team in the one Warthog though :(

Also I took great pleasure in driving the Ghost about splattering those foolish enough to walk/ run across the whole playing field from one base to another.
