I think my suggestion of white numbers on red circles on white backgrounds is the best We can move on to blue circles when we run out of numbers.

Bit late now, but it just occured to me that we could have all had the same design, but in different colours, like Reservoir Dogs.

Then of course you'd get a bunch of guys all wanting to be Mr Black and people complaining that Mr Brown kinda sounds like Mr Shit.

And some colours might be hard to identify in the heat of battle: "watch out behind you Mr.. er... Puce!"

Indeed, and the difference between saying "five" and "yellow five" could be a matter of life and death!
