Roll Muck

Distinct muttering

Recommended Posts

This was my first organised outing with Roll Muck against another rllmuk clan.

This is probably going to be my last - for the forseeable future at least.

Sorry I won't be able to participate as an active member during the Championships but I'm sure you'll do the clan proud without me  I may be able to fill in but I won't be on Halo 2 as much now.

Thanks for having me and see you on Live! sometime everyone.

What is this silly talk of no Halo 2?

We need you mate, I thought you were scraping together a team for the championship as we speak. We all did well tonight, I amazed even myself by not nearly leaking as much kills on my ratio as I feared. And you earned enough medals to make a Soviet General feel inadequate.

I thought we all played extremely well. We should all take credit for a good performance

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,

This day shall gentle his condition:

And gentlemen in England now a-bed

Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks

That fought with us against Sacred Remains.

Well done guys, and congratulations to Sacred Remains. I think one of the key differences between the teams tonight was their snipers (I think it was mostly Preacher) and our lack of one.

I nearly decided to drop out of the match earlier today, as I thought it was all getting built up a bit too much, and was going to get nasty! I'm glad I played though, I was dreading the slayers games but I think I did okay, and the friendly games afterwards proved to be good fun also.

I almost wish we'd lost. Be a fucking great team to lose to

Hope you kick our arses next time, boyos.

Absolutely. The victories were worth fighting for against competition like you guys.

And Headlong probably goes down as my most memorable Halo 2 game ever. Absolutely the most heart-pounding game I've played.

Hope to play you guys again some time soon - it'll be worth the wait

OK guys heres the official post game breakdown:

Game 1

Neutral Bomb Coag: Sacred Remains - Win 1-0

Hmm not the best, SR got an early lead then we had a stand off for about 40 minutes. Unfortunately the game was set to first to 3 with a round time of 20 minutes, meaning the game would have gone on for ever. So we quit out.

Chaos then unfolded in the lobby resulting in 2 team members dropping out. Leaving it 5 a side

Game 2

Slayer Lockout: Sacred Remains Win - 50-39

We got kicked pure and simple

EDIT - actually it ended up closer than I thought

Game 3

Crazy King Headlong - Roll Muck Win - 5:00-4:58! (yes it was that close)

What a classic.. no other word to describe it. We had about 30 seconds left on the clock and were about 2 minutes ahead. Then Pootle utter the words "weve won this one!"

Next thing we know were on 4:59 and they are on 4:58.. those last few seconds were pure terror, but we were victorious!

Game 4

Slayer Ivory Tower - Sacred Remains Win - 50-42

Another very close game, i was really pleased with our performance we worked really well as a team and took the lead numerous times throughout the game. Just lost it a bit towards the end, but well done guys!

Game 5

1 Flag CFT Zanzibar - Draw 1-1

Great way to finish the night, after an easy first flag for SR we got our act together and were just denied a point on our first attack, the flag ended up right on their spot just as the time ran out.

We went on to defend the next flag, it all came together nicely.

Then had a storming attack on our final run which equalized the game

Overal a top performance, just a shame about the result. But rest assure a rematch will be on the cards.

Sounds like a brilliant game, well done both teams!

Syntax is the man to talk to, but as a clan we don't recruit lightly (maybe one or two in December?) in an effort to keep it tight knit and stuff.

Add my gamertag if you're going on tonight though and i'm sure there'll be other Roll Muckers online as well and join us for some Big Team Battles.

Yeah, that's never a problem if we're short of a few players and don't want randoms joining out games.

This probably goes for the other Rllmuk clans as well.
