I had fun last night, but played terribly. Felt like a bullet absorbent and at one time stopped firing at an opponent because I noticed he had a logo above his head...unfortunately it was someone elses logo that showed through the wall .

I also seemed to attract ghosts with my head, being killed twice by riderless ghosts and somehow being killed by running Syntax over inside the Zanzi base...

I think I was still a little traumatized by the whoopass I got from Sack Man 64 and MrBen on some Team Slayer earlier yesterday. Even after a good (but short thanks to you guys) nights sleep I still freak out whenever I see a rocket or a green blob of plasma.

Well if No Commitment wish to play towards the beginning of next week against Roll Muck Team 2 and everyone is available round that time I'd like to participate. The next 2 weeks after that I'll be out of the country so rules me out for the rest of the entire Championship I would imagine.

But guys who are down for Team 2 have first dibs and such. I'll leave to the majority vote to determine who's to play etc.

Good games guys. Only the connection and drop in comms at times conspiring to ruin things for us.

As ever crazy king headlong proving excellent, as does 3 plots on lockout.

I guess the others will just never know what they are missing with headlong/crazy king B)

It wasn bad on Burial mounds either, although at times I did find myself low in the trenches when the hill was up high, with no easy route up. Mmm, grenade jumps? Could be an interesting tactic there!

Oh well enjoyed the games, some comedy moments tonight:

One was having a Melee fight with Atarian in the Hill on Headlong (why?! ). Also, same game Jigsawn starts shooting at me from behind probably thinking he's going to kill me (and get some revenge for earlier) only for me to pull a rocket launcher out of my pocket and blow him away!!

I enjoyed the other games but found that last Burial grounds game to be very frustrating. It seemed whenever we trekked halfway across the map to get to the hill and finally occupy it, it would move to the other side of the map, and it would instantly be occupied by the reds. Seemed a bit of a harsh one, or maybe we were just poo?

My shiteness with the SMGs became all too apparent today, with all those close encounter games. I honestly never won a single fight when I was armed with an SMG or dual SMGs. I'm utterly shit, I need help!

Have to admit I'm getting a bit bored of Halo these days, I think I would like to see some different game types or something to make it feel fresh again. Well my new graphics card arrives in a few days and then I'll have all those PC games to play! It'll do me good to have a break from Halo!

Oh, also I think quite a lot of us are handy with the snipers, we just need to make more of an effort to have them and get them in the right position in games.

We should have tried Crazy King on Waterworks. That has eight vehicles as standard, so getting about should be easy. I did suggest it in the lobby, but either my comms were faulty or I was being ignored
