Roll Muck

Distinct muttering

Recommended Posts

Well done guys.

As for the drunken ramblings they made my night, especially Syntax's American style winning rant while the other guys was trying to ask him if he drove a Porsche Carrera. :D

Ooop, yeah, have vague memories of that

Sorry guys, must of been deafening you! :D

I have a video of us playing, so will be interesting to watch and see just how shit we were!

OK guys heres the match report

Game 1 - Team Oddball - Lockout

Roll Muck win - 5:00-1:03!

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx...=SyntaxError007

Straight off to a cracking start. Managed to hold up around the sniper tower without much of a problem. Syntax did a great job as the carrier while the rest of us just dug in and defended as best we could.

Game 2 - Classic CTF - Beaver Creek

Roll Muck win - 3-0

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx...=SyntaxError007

We practiced this one a bit beforehand (well for about 10 minutes) and it certainly paid off. We tended to attack in teams of two, and used the old throwing the flag through the hole in the roof tactic.....to great effect I might add. Everytime someone was in the base to make a grab for the flag there was someone in position on the roof waiting to catch it and then warp back to base.

Game 3 - Neutral Bomb - Coag

Roll Muck win - 3-0

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx...=SyntaxError007

Ahh the old classic!

Luckily this one was a bit more successful than previous attempts. After a few frantic midmap firefights things settled down, we managed to regroup with vehicles and basically catch them on the hop. Leaving the majority of EVT stranded midmap while we broke away and attacked. Again it all seemed to gell quite nicely, and the respawning bomb worked much better than having the round end after each bomb plant.

That was pretty much it then.. EVT called it a day after the third game.

Good games guys.. and well played EVT.

Haha that drunken session had me in stiches, its a good job I didn't have my mic on or you would have heard me laughing for most of the time at your guys rantings, and the new game "guess who the fucks playing on U1's account!". Also the background ramblins could be heard like Carerra getting ordered around by Syntax - he's your bitch!

Well done on the game tonight.

Thanks to everyone who played in the games last night. The phrase 'hot knife through butter' springs to mind

Best bits:

Pwning EVT on team ball. Towards the end they managed to take over the platform opposite the sniper tower and grab hold of the sword, so I thought they might be able to pull back a minute or two. I lobbed all my grenades up there to try and soften them up a bit and got 'double kill', 'triple kill' - I then hosed down the last surviving enemy with a single SMG for a Killtacular :D

Team ball again: Syntax was camped on aformentioned platform with the ball and we were all running around holding back the tide of EVT as they dribbled up the slopes one by one. A guy managed to break through, but ran into completely the wrong hidey hole, waving his sword around uselessly. A little tap on the back of the head with a battle-rifle, and the sword was ours. Then I heard Syntax (from his hiding spot on the opposide side of the platform) saying, "that was brilliant."

It's only fair to mention my clown-like antics on Beaver Creek. Having nabbed the launcher, I thought I'd try my hand at an attack (as Syntax will attest, there wasn't much action around our flag spot). Uto was on the roof of their base, waiting to go in, so I told him to wait for me. I slipped off the rocks and had to go the long way round. "Sorry Uto, I'll be there in a minute." Again, I messed up a jump and ended up back and ground level. "just coming!" I finally make it onto the roof to lay the smackdown in their base. After taking careful aim, I manage to fire the rocket onto my feet and blow myself away. As I fly through the air I hear Syntax tutting, "oh Pob." Luckily I didn't take Uto with me!

I was also quite pleased with the last bomb plant on Neutral Bomb Coag... there was only about 18seconds left on the clock, I was midmap with the bomb and heard Uto say "if we get this it`ll be a miracle" (or words to that effect) So I just thought sod it and legged it straight in the front door, beatdown the one guy who was defending the base and planted the bomb just as it went to sudden death.

Good games tonight guys, we started well at least!

We rinsed Beaver Creek early on on Neutral Bomb, whoever you guys are playing are in for a touch encounter.

Night FULL of betrayals for me, allthough I did warn you guys. Racked up a 50 second respawn time at one point.

The best one was on Hitcher though. Saved for the last match, Headlong. As always picked up the rocket Launcer. Wandering around at the top of the the base picking off the odd warthog, I notice a guy running towards me. Line up my shot, but just as I pull the trigger the guy falls down dead. My now worthless rocket sails over his lifeless corpse out of the level and to safety, only to come into contact with a wandering banshee mid journey. Would have been the best ever non-locked on rocket had it not been Hitcher piloting.

It was also funny walking into the game and being shown something 'new' which we'd found yesterday! Weird that we hadn't noticed it before as a group.

Seeing as I hadn't played with you guys for ages it was good to see Atarian's driving was still up to it's notorious best.

Anyone still online now? Bored again!

I think I can top your betrayals with my hard fought betrayal on Headlong where I thought I jumped down on an enemy who was just firing upon a Roll Mucker, whipped out my plasma sword and did some berserker-style slicing and dicing. When looking down on the results of my l33t swordwork only to find out the "enemy" had the same color as me..... Sorry 'bout that (forgot who it was).

That guy with rockets on Ivory Tower was really amazing, can't believe he almost singlehandedly won that match for them.
