Guys, to get us up to four pairs for the 2 v 2 tourney, we need one more person who is up for this.

First name in here gets in the hat with a chance of playing alongside your glorious overlord!!

Count me in.. I cant get Bungie.net to work and I havent got time to piss about.

Unlike you slackers!

Gusy, we are still sitting on 9 people for the 2 v 2.

Surely someone else fancies it? Harlen? Jigsawn? Pop Monkey? Anyone?

I think Pootle will be up for this, especially as he's missed out on the Championships. Not sure when he's back, I think he's away for another week, but I'm sure he'll be back before this starts.

Yeah, thought of pootle. What I will do is draw it at random by the end of this week. IF Pootle cant make it, then the person who has him will be able to try and get someone else in to take his place.

Thanks for the kind words. Your win was thoroughly deserved, although we had a bit of bad luck and our heart didn't seem to be in it. We really need a plan of some sort. And then a backup plan.

You could probably tell that we needed a plan for Coagulation too, we did nothing in any of the two rounds we were attacking.

Good luck with the rest of the tourney guys, hope to see you in the final :)

I hoped we would have been able to put up a bit more of a fight. I think we really blew the first game on defense in Beaver Creek (which I really do hate by the way) EVT won with a well deserved 3-0 score.

The second game, Team Crazy King Ascension, we lost in the first 1-2 minutes when EVT got over a minute ahead of us. After the bad start whenever we took back some time the hill would move to the complete other side of the map right near EVT respawn spots which allowed them to get some easy time on the hill. That game got me (and I think that goes for all of us) thoroughly despirited since it did feel like we were the stronger team on Ascension but we lost by quite a bit in the end.

We played really badly on CTF Lockout, just running around seperately being outnumbered on most encounters.

We lost Team Slayer Colossus to EVT's brilliant sniper(s). They started with a few fast kills, that forced us to go on the attack. They held up around the sniper rifle which made it impossible for us to launch a real attack with all 4 people. Nice plasma pistol/battle rifle combo's, we never had a chance.

We were lucky we didn't get clobbered on Coag, if EVT had put in a bit more effort they should have been able to get that one easy. I think neither team managed to get the flag out of the base even once.

The secret to our success there was just trying to be aware when the 'hill' would move. That was why it seemed like we were spawning next to it, we wouldnt bother to run towards the hill if we had just respawned and thought we were only gonna get 1 or 2 seconds out of it. We'd usually just try a random spot elswhere and sometimes hit the mark with it.

Yeah, that's a good tactic. Cover the hill with a rifle from the opposite side of the map, then you may end up only a few steps from the hill when it moves.
