Must admit, first time i have played that Noshi and really enjoyed it. It reminded me of the one-shot-kill mode in goldeneye (although can't remember the exact game type). Adds a completely new element to the game and it takes the whole "i emptied an entire clip into him and he took me out with one smg" element out of it.

Then proceded to have the weirdest game with mainly om-yom (or whatever clan) players. Couldn't hear a word anyone was saying, if indeed they were saying anything. We played sniper slayer on co-ag......not sure whet the hell was going on. Some people seemed to be playing the game, wolf and tyler seemed to be shooting their own grenades like it was clay pigeon shooting. Took that as my exit queue as i didn't want to be getting cursed for sniping folk..... :ph34r:

Oh right. Must be an older type house then as the walls they make nowadays tend to be paper thin. If you need your live fix i guess you can get a repeater or something similar to extend the signal range. Although this will depend how big your house is....... :ph34r:

Well that was a thoroughly depressing experience. My first dabble on live for weeks and its met with connection problems, piss poor lag, abusive yanks and a shocking personal performance.

Sorry I didnt invite you in Atarian, only had a couple of games then I gave up. Plus it spared you from listening to me moaning.

Im in serious need of something new on LIVE... whens that update disk out again? :D

You certainly seem as disenchanted with matchmaking as we are.

If you guys fancy a little friendly interforum clan match tomorrow would we have any takers? We're usually on on a wednesday night for a little practice and then matchmaking but would happily skip the latter.

In principal a great idea. However I am on GF duty this week, and I am sure most of them will have taken order of SC3 by then, courtesy of Play.com fucking up.

But hopefully you will get some interest. Just dont count on it ;)

Err, you may have noticed I've not been on Halo 2 for a while. A long while in fact. It's mainly because we are really fking busy at work right now and I don't get much free time. Also when I do have free time I've been playing the amazing Resi 4 and a lot of WOW, which is still bloody brilliant. For now Halo 2 has taken a back seat, though I expect I'll return to it when things at work (hopefully) return to normality, in a few weeks. Tempted to get Splinter Cell 3 when that comes out and play that a shedload on Live as well.

Dont worry, we are all going through a lull at the minute.

Finally received my RESI4 copy yesterday. Took 'em 14 days to drop it in my mailbox :P So you won't be seeing me online for a while. I'll see about SC3, I'm not exactly the stealthy type. For those kind of games you need to invest quite a bit of time to become a reasonably good player and I just don't have the time. Since I don't feel like getting my throat slit over and over I might just skip SC3.

Just get it, you dont need to invest that much time. A couple of hours wandering round the maps on your own pretty much equips you for being able to hold your own online.

I've taken this week off gaming altogether (apart from the odd bash at Minish Cap at work) just so I can catch up on all the TV shows I've downloaded.

Busy with work at the moment :lol:

Hardly had time to play any video games but in saying that I did play some Pro Evo 4 last night (limbering up for Season 3) and I was on Live! for an hour or so last night playing Halo 2 for the 1st time in yonks - not that any of you were on (though Stroker was playing SC: CT I believe).

Taking a bit of a break from Halo..well atleast until the new content is released. My last couple of sessions were pretty disasterous and led to me wanting to hit things..Hard! So Im just enjoying some quiet time.

Trying to get into Splinter Cell at the moment but im even finding that hard going...but like you atleast ive now caught up on almost all of my TV viewing.

Oh and Happy "Belated" Birthday Uto!

Yeah, my free time seems to of flown out the window recentlly.

I think Halo is taking a well deserved rest. She was a lovely women, but eventually I got fed up with all her cheating and name calling, nigger/bitch/jew being particular favourites.

Trying to get myself into competitive condition with SC, but will no doubt be wooed back to the slut for a while with her temptation of new pleasures in the coming months.

Bah, I still play and will be on later tonight. It's you lot that defected to that game for guys that like to fondle eachother in the dark ;).

Me, Hitcher, Carrera and Sack Man had a nice run of team Skirmish games on the 9th, with some closely fought (and won) games and even courteous opponents, so there's still hope for matchmaking.
