your list still appears to be wrong. minor clan is all team slayer (total 17) plus all team skirmish (total 25) meaning there are 42 game types total. your list is only 24 long from memory.

a couple of things: maybe game types for the group stage should be such, that once a gametype has been drawn, it stays off the roster. since there are 42 game types, and at most 35 games to be played, this would mean we'd get to play most in the course of the tournament.

for the play-offs, maybe we do a random draw of five from the complete list each time. and maybe play over 7 legs instead of 5? best of 9 for the final?

also i believe that bungie actually have some kind of weighting system so that certain maps get played more than others (so team phantoms is rare, team slayer colossus is common).

of course this can be decided later, the main thing is getting the initial list right so you can do the draw ...

I will replace CTF ascension with one new random gametype from this list if people want. Although it sounds quite fun to me, all others will stay the same. I will use this full list for the following weeks fixtures.

there seems to be a bloody multitude of lists hidden away on that bungie site. You got a link Kiwi to that one you have?

1 flag ctf on Ascension should be called 1 flag ctf fast. Its over before you know it. Far too easy to get the flag to the score point.

Had a game of 1 flag ctf fast on Ascension with some Om Yom, and it should be called 1 flag ctf REALLY fast! It was over that quick :D

1 Flag CTF on Ascension just isn't on any list on the Bungie site I could find. I went to bungie.net, clicked halo 2 and then clicked on playlists. It says Minor clan is a combination of Team Slayer and Team Skirmish playlists.

Its all too easy to sit and criticise, but yeah, something about wanting it all to be right.

I dunno, I cant even see the bloody list I got yesterday now, so I guess I botched it, but it was confirmed so I will happily share the dunces hat with breaksmith.

I now have the list Kiwi posted, and will now use that. The new list has been posted, Ascension replaced with the first one that popped up when I did it again.

I appreciate everyone wants it done right. I am by no means a Bungie playlist expert, hence me not spotting the fuck ups.

I hope (and pray) everyone is now happy.

Week 2 will be generated totally from kiwis list.

Do we want the gametypes that have been played removed from the list as Kiwi suggested?

Might be a good idea. There'd be no repetition then, unlike in matchmaking i.e. Neutral Bomb on Coagulation :D

yeah but we also stopped you grabbing the flag remember. It is defendable. personally i fucking LOVE 1 flag on ascension.

Can i just say bah humbug that we are using the bungie playlists. We had a chance to make this thing something really interesting but instead we're gonna be playing the same old shit tedious gametypes.

Syntax tried getting people to suggest their preferred gametypes, but the general feeling was that it would be unfair to be forced to play everyone's bizarre custom games. A fair point.

Trocodero hasnt been on live for ages, riyad and craig have been cut off from the internet, tyler and lonewolf spend every minute practicing trick jumps and glitches, Fil moans about lag and I'm totally out of touch with all the new strategies.

Only Krypt holds Om Yom together, but he seems to have stopped talking to us entirely.

My money is actually on Sacred remains.

I see Kerraig is of the same opinion as myself about our teams. EVT havent played as much as we used to, let alone practice much, and I've been playing like a spaz due to worrying about my uni course. If it werent for madkiwi it'd be a shambles.

Also, dont underestimate Sacred Remains.
