Napole0n in being a twit shocker.

Sales so far this year (not including this last week or two):

PlayStation 2 2,198,410

GameCube 527,713

Usually the PS2 sells about 4 times as well as the GC. This week its more like 20 times as high. One of the reasons for this discrepancy has already been stated.

GameCube sales are down because there is no new hardware, no new software and no price cuts.

DS is Nintendo's priority right now.

I love how people here "concentrate" on xbox's japanese sales. What's sad ,however,is how the GC has been selling in Japan in 2004.The GC has stuck in 5000 units per week and remember that nintendo is actually a JAPANESE company. This is really pathetic and proves that the GC is selling horribly in every territory while at least the xbox is selling amasingly in the U.S and very good in Pal markets.
