Lol fantastic. Looks like IT are going to try and attacks pure blind. This will be funny. Their pet allainces shall be bringing RR LR battleships. Yes thats right Long range remote rep battleships. A tactic that died a death and long time ago thanks to bomber squads annihilating them. Even if they go and attack evoke in cloud ring then they'll just pick up the bat phone and dial for cry havoc and others. Lots of fun shall be had!

Well the LOLatlas is getting to a peak, we are blue to PL *spits* and the Russians and have been ransomed 2 tits and 3 sc, in disgust AAA have reset us and are trying to gank us as we evac shit out. Leadership are trying to put a brave face on it.

Part of the save our shit deal is for Atlas to lose it's name so they will have to start a new alliance, so in short Atlas is dead and is only holding on for the sc to stop baking.

Just been reading about the embarrassing Atlas capitulation in the eve forums - which has amused somewhat.

Well bigg will be walking away with a couple of hundred bill from this I think. They have slowly gotten their members in to leadership positions and also hold the purse strings. they will be the only winners tbh.

As for ra and co they would be smart if they don't kick the renters out and give them the same deal we did, we made a few hundred bill of them. If aaa survive they would be smart if they get a proper blue in to omist, place is an untapped goldmine.

Oh and so far 1 corp has left, 2 others are leaving including my corp.

Seems the rzr thing has fallen through as we dont really have enough members now so we are merging with another ex atlas corp who we get on very well with and were looking to join another alliance (don't ask the corps name it's really bad, I mean really really bad).

Well bobbys with brick squad now. He's a part of the NC!. Oh and cry havoc went pop saying that members were bored and the game performs badly. Personally I think there must be more to it as the servers been bad for ages. Oh and as a nice gift to myself for earning money trading shit I bought myself an Apoc navy issue. It's sexy as hell. put two 1600mm plates on it and the armour hits 30k. Monster tank!

Beychae just come north. Don't go with one of those flakey southern allainces, most of whom are going to die in a ditch. The north offers stability and quite frankly that what you need now. I'm sure someone will pick your corp up. Rzr maybe a no no but there are plenty of others. Some of them could do with more members.

I just lost a Nighthawk in lowsec after I'd been there about 5 minutes on a mission. Other than admittedly impressive scan-fu on the part of his wingman, fucking fuck. This is why I hate PvP. I have never, in almost 7 years of playing the game, had a single fight in which I was not immediately and utterly dominated by the other player and the outcome of the engagement was obvious within the first 10 seconds, and the remaining 5 minutes was tedious orbiting while I waited to get killed.

I don't understand how this can be fun. And I'm not being rhetorical - I literally do not understand, and I would like someone to explain it. In 1-on-1 PvP, isn't the outcome dictated 90% by the ships and their fitting? Where's the skill, other than in making sure you press the right F-keys after you've reloaded ammo?

I've probably been unlucky every time this has happened because I've never gone out looking for a fight, although the absolute roasting I got this time left me wanting to chuck the whole PC in the bin. I thought I'd have a fighting chance in a T2-fitted Nighthawk but this time a fucking Tengu caught me - can you get worse luck? I was on him with drones and a full rack of heavies immediately but I never got him below 90% shield and it was just a matter of time before he broke my tank - firing what seemed like one t2 heavy every 10 seconds but doing 600+ damage every time. This is bullshit.</whine>

Effortlessly obliterating someone is fun if you're the one doing the obliterating of course. But you're partly correct, most times the outcome of an engagement is determined in advance, particularly in a 1v1 situation such as you describe where there's a huge ship differential. The key I guess to winning these kinds of things in a lesser ship is not being in a position to be engaged, or appearing to be something you're not, or having backup waiting in the next system etc. But yes, once that Tengu engaged you you were mincemeat.

you can set barrages to all fire from 1 button press using groupings. so it wasn't 1 heavy missile, it was all of his heavy missile launchers in one package.
