Well, it's fucking ace. Relentless. That's the best word for it so far.

Just done the siege in the house. Fucking hell, that was tense. Oh, and only afterwards did I notice I could have pushed the book cases in front of the windows. D'oh! Still, this game is fucking Supoib!

Just booted it up with immense excitement only to be met with an out of sync audio track and HUGE borders, on my 4:3 Toshiba. I can't believe Capcom forced the borders on the American version isn't it supposed to be a tiny minority of them that don't have 4:3 TVs? :P

Isn't the borders thing partially a contrivance to help keep the frame rate running smoothly though?

The borders are for cinematic effect, according to Capcom. It's always been that way. You won't notice them after a while though.

Jesus, some people, you've got one of the best games of this generation in your hands and all you can do is moan about borders.

In my defence it turns out it was a problem with Freeloader 1.04 and less than a 3rd of the screen was visible. The audio sync should have made me aware of that as well as the blue tint. For anyone else with problems it seems the Japanese region selection works best :(.

Lol, forgiven, would of been funnier if you had started complaining about Capcom giving the game a blue hue as well as the borders tho.

I've had to come off of this from the first house seige, still to do it after taking a few attempts already, the games just fcuking intense. Gorgeous game, borders are HUGE but my TV can stretch them out, it doesn't look any worse for it thank God. Enjoying it so far but have hardly scratched its surface.

So back to it then. Bye.

Just finished the first major encounter and have to stop for some lunch. My goodness it's fab, System Shock 2 aside it's amazing nobody really seems to have knacked that horror movie tension.

I just defended the shotgun room and kept knocking over one ladder and blasting the nasties from the other. I never even noticed the breadth of options open to you until after the fight.

If you don't go in the house, chainsaw man never turns up and they all bugger off in to the church after a while. Tres simple.

Died twice at the troll so far, awesome. When the wolf I saved came to help that put a major smile on my face. Hopefully there's more of these sorta things down the line.

Want to know the quick way of killing him?
