I don't personally think any of the levels up to Colossus are unsuitable. For Colossus maybe change to Sniper as starting weapon, but if you're good, you can control any map.

It manages to make you feel really tense and bored at the same time. Quite an achievment. Sadly a rubbish one.

Ivory Tower & Lockout were good (although I had my worst game ever on Lockout). Burial Mounds wasn't the snipe whore fest I thought it was gonna be but the cowardly other team did hide a bit towards towards the end (I think) but I guess that's part of the game. There were some bizarre spawns going on too.

The spawns on Burial Mounds were crazy for a while but that made the BR all the more important.

I'm finding that a lot in Halo 2. Spawning right in front of the person who just killed you, spawning in the middle of a fight etc.. Last night we did some 2v2v2 slayer on Zanzibar. Me and Stiff were on the same team and I think we only spawned together once. I was on the beach all alone after Stiff was killed, waiting for him to appear next to me, and he spawned in the base. It's weird sometimes.

A classic last night was when I got spawned at the enemy base on waterworks while on defence at CTF. Needless to say I enjoyed that little walk back towards my base.

In matchmaking yesterday (Coagulation, Minor Clan Team Slayer) I spawned to see the 2 Ghost Boost trails either side of me as I appeared as Wolf had just Ghosted exactly where I spawned. Unfortunately, some dude had a lock on him with the rocket which hit me in the face as I spawned.
