Are we on this again sometime today? I'm free all afternoon, and probably night.

Outrun Sunday man - 6pm! Be there!

I won my qualifying group and beat my first opponent in the second stage - then I faced Zanshino who absolutely ripped me a new one.

After that, got beaten by Raimundo and eliminated from the tournament. Still, I did pretty well all considered.

Hairy Jesus and I were having a chat in work today when the subject of this game came up. I asked him what he thought of it and I nearly fell over when he announced that the game was crap - appalling graphics he said... Not worth the money he had paid for it he said.

I questioned him further and I asked him what in particular he didn't like about the graphics. He said that the character models had no detail, the intro was shit and the characters looked very blocky and angular.

It suddenly clicked - I asked him which disc he was playing. "Number 1 of course" he replied...

Oh dear Jesus...

Having slipped disc 2 into my gleaming crystal xbox I was glad that the game was good. :(

Stupid retarded Hairy Jesus... if not for this chat, Hairy Jesus would have re-ebayed this awful game :D

Is rather classy and fluid and very pretty... best beat em up on xbox so far.

Me and Preacher will try and get back into this game, we kinda abandoned it just before Ayacon!

Well, Im guessing he wants to get back into it cos he said!

During our regular Outrun 2 LIVE session tonight this game cropped up in conversation. Garwoofoo and I are up for this. Name the day and we'll be there.

Has the lag issue been sorted out? The main reason I stopped playing...

It was never bad per se...you just need a good 256k upload to enjoy it properly. Anything less and it's pretty much a waste of time.

Trust me, it's lots, lots better on the lag front these days.

Ok, I'm semi tempted to join this with my fellow outrunners, but as some of you will remember, I am hopelessly shit. Any chance of doing some loser stays on or something for some of it, not just winner stays on all the time? Because then the shit people just get pizzowned by the good people every once in a while. And we all have to watch Preacher constantly.

That's fine - we've also got team battle to play as well, providing the numbers are good and even.

Yes, I'm aware I've probably played this too much and thus know the game inside out, but if it's loser stays on then you won't have to worry. Honestly, it'll be loads of fun.
