I'll buy these on CD like a shot, but until that happens... well, you know. It's not practical for me to buy any more vinyl, I don't have the space to keep it or the space to play it. Or the equipment to do it justice, sadly.

I've recorded all the tracks, from all the records so far onto mini-disc. Saves me having to get the records out, again and again.

Depends how good a record player you want, of course? I've got a Stanton, not a proper DJ turntable, but a very good turntable for my needs. It cost around £180.

So, is this one of those things that's gonna keep increasing in value, or, once the hype has died down, will they depreciate?

Are you a serious Aphex Twin collector or do you just want the (amazingly good) music? I wouldn't have paid more than about £20 for that binder but I'm happy to snap up the standard vinyls every few weeks for a fiver a piece.

I wouldn't call myself a serious Aphex Twin collector, but I'm a huge fan. The thing is, I'm also a completist, so I'd hate to have Analords 1-9 and 11, and not have 10.

Ah well, time will tell, I suppose.

As long as you've got a full binder, containing the rare Analord 10 12" then it'll keep it's value.
