Wonderfulllll work both of you, Minkee - is that for a job? And Melon Bread, do you ever sneak little pixel versions of yourself or people you know into your scenes?

heh, I did my wedding invite in pixelart and sometimes the little pixel versions of me and the mrs getting married sneaks it's way into some of my illos.

That's bloody bloody amazing.

Although I'm not sure about the blue seats at OT.

heh, or the fact that theres no crowd.

It was orginally OT but that made me take the UTD off the front and add the blue seats

How long does it take you to put something like that together? Tis fantastic.

Think this was done over the course of a month on and off with other jobs slotted in.

This thread genuinely makes me feel inferior as a human being.

As a layman, I'd be seriously interested in a thread where a couple of the regular contributors talked through their processes in making a 'piece'. Like, from a blank canvas, going through in the stages where it takes a form, then finishing it off, then deciding to close the book on it.

Nice work matt0, I like the little details like the grassy shadow and hint of sunlight on the arch. You could maybe even subtly apply that orangy back-lighting to the reptile and statue head in the foreground ^_^

Thanks, I need to go back and fix the trees on the right at some point so I'll give it a shot...

It might not be the most interesting sample, but I did a little step by step on that peacock I made, here: http://minkee.co.uk/2009/10/20/process-shop-peacock/

OR you could just BUY ONE. ;P

[edit: i thought i should make that a bit more attention grabbing]
