What is Paintchat?

It's a java application that involves lots of people drawing together on a virtual canvas, with a chat window down the bottom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paint_chat

Unfortunately they're usually clogged with a vast crowd of wannabe anime artists and it can be pretty buggy but it's not rare to see some awesome art going on.

Is that using Artrage or real paints?

It was done in Painter X, I wish I could afford/use real paints .

I like those book illustrations, minkee, the curves give it a lot of energy.

No, most paintchat boards are just on public sites so they're open to spamming and such. Not so great when someone comes in and draws all over your work. It's great for colab-efforts though.

heh, I wish ;P It's not even really written yet. It's just some little kids activity book though, obviously, that we're doing at work.

We are making it (and a bunch of others) then taking it to some publishers, so I hope so, but who knows!
