Fully onboard, not least because stronger DC films means Marvel is likely to push their own output to greater heights. Feel like superhero movies have fatigued a little so WB/DC getting their game together is beneficial to us the audience.

It's a great trailer and I really want to see it but.... trailers can be very, very deceiving. After MoS and BvS I refuse to get too excited about DC films until we actually get a good one, they really haven't earned any of it so far.

Also, it's WWI so no Nazis. Just The Hun.

Yep, that's actually something that bothers me about the film - as much as I'd like to hope they put some nuance in there, as this is a big, dumb superhero action movie I can easily see them presenting Germany as generically Bad in the same way that yer average WW2 film does. With a WW2 film I can just about accept that simplification thanks to the whole nazism = awful thing, but it really doesn't hold up in any way for the Great War.

First trailer looked okay aside from that, mind (I've not watched the second)!

Disgruntled fanboy or employee, it's kind of hard to argue with stuff like this:

You just don't get it. And it's not just DC movies, it's your whole slate. Jupiter Ascending. Get Hard. Hot Pursuit. Max. Vacation. Pan. Point Break. Fucking PAN, you jerk. People lost their jobs and you decided Pan was a good idea. You think another Jungle Book is a good idea. What are you even doing?

WB are a mess. If DC films goes south expect film adaptations of the Cursed Child (Pt1 and 2) to claw back some cash.

Who is the big baddie in this? There doesn't seem to be much peril for WW in the trailer. Just her fucking up harmless grunts.

It has a supernatural villain, that they've not confirmed, but most people seem to believe it's

Spoiler

Ares, played by Danny Huston. Before filming began the rumour was it was Circe with Ares manipulating things in the background, but that appears to have faded away to just Ares. I kinda like the idea of Ares being involved in WW1 in the form of a German general, but I could also see how that could go very, very wrong, very, very fast.

Surely  the "Wonder" poster should have her standing there  scratching her head?

Or at least doing something that would inspire wonder  as opposed standing there in a "block" pose.

Edi* " I wonder what the fuck she's at?".
