Jap Saturn

i have a PAL sega saturn but i want to be able to play imports, mainly jap imports.

what should i go for, the import cart or to chip it?

are the games playable with the cart only or is chipping recommended (i have the round button model)? i'm not very good with electronics so i don't think i would be able to solder it myself. i really don't know where to get the chip either..

also, could you please recommend some good jap games? not the obvious ones.. B)

Get a jap saturn as well, probably cheaper and definately less hastle than modding your own. IRC it's aset of switches instead of a chip (chips for gold disks only) to change region 60/50 hz. Still easier to get a second hand jap machine frankly.

As for jap games, not the obvious ones I'll have to look whne I get home!

Seriously though save yourself the heart ache buy a jap machine for £30 quid of ebay (they only have a Victor saturn that's going for 41+ at the mo but they come around now and again)

Alternativly get Yoda to sort you out.

if your only playing jap imports then get a jap saturn. however, if you want to play pal games in 60 htz as well as jap games, get it chipped/switched.
