Doctor Who

I'm also a fan of School Reunion, and don't really care that the plot is a bit silly. It's a bit of a waste of Anthony Head, though, who would be ace in a bigger Who role. That BF audio CD where he's a madman on a post-apocalyptic planet is...well, utter, utter shite on almost every level, but he's bloody good in it to an extent that I'm sad we won't see more of him in Who.

He was in the Void (he said this), and came through the rift (he also said this, and there was a bit of talk about "rift activity two weeks ago, but nothing came through" - Adam came through).

Why did he "die" when no-one remembered him any more? Initially, no-one would have known who he was either.

"Oh my God. I'm the tin dog."

Worth it for that line alone. :P

They repeat them all back to back Saturday nights.

Thanks for that but I'd already checked and it's not on then...

My Sky Plus planner is showing episode four of Brain of Morbius set to be recorded on Monday afternoon. Not sure why they skipped a week, but it looks as though normal service will be resumed next week.

;)

Great, thanks.

BBC3 spoilers:

My blood started to boil when it showed to kid hammering away at his PSP, to the accompaniment of eight bit bloops and bleeps. Then I grinned like a loon when it showed the screen, and it turned out to be a POPstation. :)

Overall though, that was a bit of an odd episode. The whole Death thing was perhaps a step to far into pure superstition for a sci-fi show, not to mention the tarot reading. Saying that, the time flew by, so it must have been doing something right.

bbc 2 episode was excellent - and with that ending, we couldn't resist turning over to bbc 3 to watch the next one. Really good as well. Torchwood has always hinted at what is in the void when you die - it's been a recurring theme and it's not going to be the last of it. Really enjoyed both episodes.

Well, I thought that was genuinely unsettling. And Death was very nicely done - the right side of scary without being stupidly flashy. The stories this year aren't essentially any better than the first series' - they're just told better. Really enjoyed it, anyway. Next week's looks like a cracker.

Oh certainly, that it was!

The glove attack made me jump out of my skin at one point, even though it was ripped straight out of Aliens.

On a lighter note, the headstand vomiting was both disgusting and hillarious. Especially Jack's reaction. :)
