Good close racing in WSB at Silverstone today, very entertaining with Bayliss winning the double,Haga two 2nd's and Toseland charging to two 3rd's.Quality battling by the rest of the riders too. Those guys are seriously brave.Nearly went to watch it live but didn't as i heard the weather wasn't gonna be too good.Wish i had now

Was amazing. 324kmh (200mphish) was jokingly said to be slow. If there was any jutice every F1 fan would get this on dvd free in the post and show them what racing should be. And DUcati had an ace paintjob

Mugello never disappoints - Absolutely some of the best racing you will ever see was on display yesterday. And anyone that thought Rossi was losing his edge got a sharp reminder as to why he is the best racer on two wheels in the known universe. The last few laps with Capirossi and The Doc side by side at 150Mph were insane.

Road racing is ace....although if you see this week's MCN and the responses to it....... :(<_<

But it was a terrible shame to hear about Jun Maeda. Having known people you have died at the TT, it's difficult to reconcile the fact that they died doing something they loved, and knew was dangerous, with the fact they died and left people behind...

  • 2 weeks later...

Was a bit of weird race, but after that crash its too be expected. BSB was on aswell i think from Snetterton, it was on men and motors just now which my dad found by accident, teh coverage this year has been shite, give it back to Sky.

Kiyonari won both races, lavilla crashed in Race 2

Just saw the opening crash on the news. Capirossi had internal bleeding and bruising to his abdomen. Melandri had a dislocated collar bone and sore neck. Gibernau had a broken collar bone. All a bit nasty.

I'v enever been to the TT but am going to the southern 100 in July, i hope they dont ban the TT before i get the chance to go.

The TT won't be banned. As long as people are prepared to accept the risks, it should continue. Look at Monaco in F1. It's the most ludicrous situation ever but they all come back every year.

And now on to the MotoGP. Poor riders :) Well, I'm not too bothered about Gibernau but I'm gutted that Capirossi and Melandri are injured.

Horrible, horrible crash yersterday. Gibernau's landing was truly sickening, as was Melandris dragging incident.

Rossi was ace though, especially on the last lap where he turned off the traction control ;) - It's not often you see a GP bike being slid round a corner with opposite lock.

Of course, harsh as it is to say, the injuries to Capirossi & Melandri have given ROssi a massive boost - Only Nicky "Rossi has me completely beaten" Hayden stands in Rossi's way now.

I'd love to see a Macau style race or MotoGP event in Monaco that would be insane. F1 in monaco is a joke of a race and its just fucking fashion show if you ask me.

Awesome race, Colin is my main rider hes just a cool guy and i'm gutted, but Hayden has deserved a win after so many behind Rossi awesome for NIkano to (he still has teh best helmet paint job). I love the camera work from the helicopter and the onbaord footage always enhances my tv experience.
