360 - [edit] Saints Row. So so much fun. Edge gave this a six, and I have lost a little faith in them from this review. Saying it's shit because it has sub GTA music, and moaning about the way it depicts women... PLAY THE FUCKING GAMES EDGE, GAMES ARE FUN.

NDS - Both the brain games daily, still addicted, still no smarter.

NDS - NSMB still hunting those coins.

PC - Outrun

got a load of 360 goodness coming though the post soon too, my gaming is picking up again :o

Dead Rising?

Is this some strange parellel universe where Edge complained about the depciction of decomposing female zombies?

Have been working late the past two weeks, but am still squeezing in some Dead Rising whenever possible. Restarted a few times, but am nicely levelled up now, so should hopefully see my current game through to the end.

Still ploughing through Dragon Quest too - took the PS2 back to my folks at the w/e, so got a good few hours in. Up to level 25 now, but just took on Dhoulmagus for the first time and got my arse handed to me quite spectacularly - going to need to go on a bit of a levelling up spree before I try that again, methinks.

Some random spurts of Tiberian Sun when I've got nothing better to do, along with FEAR multiplayer at lunchtimes, which is aces.

Got Okami, God Hand and Defcon on the way soon too, but which time (hopefully) work will be a bit more chilled and I can put some decent time into them. Looking forward to God Hand especially - haven't played a decent, properly 'Capcom-tough' fighting game since DMC3.

Dead Rising - Finished the story and overtime mode, now level 36. Planning on playing it again to get some achievements, kill all the psychopats en rescue some more people.

Zelda: a Link to the Past - While waiting for some decent titles for the DS started playing this game again on my GB micro. Hope to finish it this time.

Xbox Tomb Raider: Legend.

the first time i have played a TR game since, ooooh, the original one i think and i have been enjoying it immensely. the story is a bit shite - usual 'Evil Within' balls, but the running, jumping, climbing trees gameplay is high amusement and the new moves make a world of difference to how you approach the levels. and a big round of applause to the makers for doing away with fucking awful stealth sections. looking forward to the time trials now.

what else... gone back to Killzone for some jerky framerate chuckles, and it's not too bad on replay. some decent set-pieces and nice looking levels. the bad guys taking an entire clip to go down is still annoying though... and for the high times, low times and all the times inbetween it's Rez.

Was on holiday last week so t'was all about the handhelds.

Tekken DR (PSP): Really, really, really good. I'm not so good at it, but I'm gradually rekindling my Law mojo and am a 4th Dan on the 3rd dojo and really enjoying it.

Goku Makaimura (PSP): Hated it. Enormously. Edge are mental.

Chrono Trigger (PSP through Snes9xTYL): Did play through this back in the day but thought it was worth a revisit and I went through the same thing I do with every RPG I've ever played: play first five hours, enjoy it, play it while drunk, miss out on where to go next due to booze-induced concentration lapse, wander around for another hour and a half, get pissed off with random battles and lack of direction, swear a bit, delete save and go off and do something else for a bit, while muttering something about keeping more than one save file and saving before every single conversation to compensate for my stupidity, resolve never to play another JRPG again, have a wank.

Now I'm home.

And I'm playing Yakuza (PS2) which after significant intial reservations is turning out to be a thing of beauty and joy and love and neon and stamps on people's faces and "you're a bunch of pussies.......all of you".

There aren't any random battles in chrono trigger IIRC

Tekken Dark Resurrection. It's very good!

I finished Mercury the other week, but I didn't get all the bonus levels. I got 4 out of 6. I like how some of the levels have shortcuts that you have to find in order to get no.1 and some just want you to do the level perfectly. It's annoying too of course, hence me leaving it at the standard 100%, rather than obsessively going for those last two bonus levels (which unlock a whole new world, I'm guessing from the scores list).
