Thought I'd get us a thread so... discussion here guys!

And remember, 'Think smart, play smart' B)

To get the ball rolling we ought to arrange for a suitable time and day for everyone to get together on Live! to walk round maps or just general gameplay chat!

Hello!

I suppose we should start by discussing what our strengths/preferences are, so we don't all try and bundle into the Warthog driver seat at the start of each round or something...

Personally, I'm used to sniping. I'm not actually that good at it, but I've doing it for months now. Especially on Zanzi, Burial Mounds and Coagulation. I'm very happy to do something else, but my game usually involves hiding, keeping plenty of distance between me and the baddies, and generally dying as little as possible.

I'm rubbish with the sword/shottie, and generally am not as good in close quarters.

I also like driving vehicles, especially bombing around in a Hog or crushing people with the Wraith.

at least i know this team wasn't a fix

but we can fix the gametype draw :)

i think if everyone, including subs suggests one bungie playlist gametype they like, then we should get a good range, and not too many duffs. and it will mean the most popular are more likely to be played. and if a shit one comes up, we will all know who to blame ...

like the look of the team, xice is a killer from what i've seen, me and syntax are sneaky bastards, and frodo has the ring.

oh, and i have scots blood (and scotch) in me somewhere ...

Yeah maybe going into some Team Training together would be a good way to sort some things out and just to see how well we naturally gel at first.

I'm rubbish at sniping, with rockets, with the sword and with the shotgun. I blame latency!

I'm ok with middle range weapons - assault rifle, plasma rifle, pistols etc. I like being in the back of the hog. If we're doing multi objective games i'm good in defence. I'm patient like that.

Sounds fair enough. Lets have a play around with the new gametypes for the next couple of days and people can post their opinions over the weekend B)

and he can spell frodo.

oh, and it's a small m in madkiwi. :)

Well being in a team with the tornament organiser must have some benefits. Spelling my gamertag correctly isn't one of them though
