Just watch a couple of trailors for this and WOW!! It's like the introduction to the wind waker (the bit with the amazing music) come to life. Anyone got any interesting info about this game? Release date? Will it be a ps2 exclusive?

Saw some trailers on the official site a while back. I'm just dreading a decision not to release it in Europe. It IS getting a US I seem to remember...

IMO not enough games have pushed visual styles like this, when the consoles really have the power to do it. I shook my head in dismay at the bloodthirsty reaction the Wind Waker style got from many corners, cpmplaining it looked childish. It's a game about a little elf boy killing monsters FFS, it's not like they were making 'Raging Bull: The Game".

Back on topic - Okami looks like the gaming equivalent of a Studio Ghibli film. Yum.

Its undoubtedly the best looking game I've ever seen.

And it looks like it's gonna have the gameplay to match.

The new trailers on Gamespot are all in English, so it's definetly coming out somewhere in the west.

Funny how there seems to be hardly any love for this game on the forum, maybe as it's an original concept people are holding off opinions until they get their hands on it...

Anyway, as soon as I saw a video of the game in motion it blew me away. Not purely because of its stunning visuals, but because watching any vid of it in motion you can tell there's a game in there. A very good game at that.
