Yeah, that was another shocker of a penalty. Thought AMN looked good but Smith-Rowe seemed a little tired or something.

Big fan of that goal coming from Arsenal not throwing the ball back after watford kicked it out. So sick of those bullshit stoppages and the player was up and running about seconds later.

Same. It’s not like it was immediately from the throw either - Watford even had the ball back again afterwards, before being dispossessed by White.

 

Add in that Rose could’ve probably just let the ball run out for a goal kick, or certainly got it back up towards the halfway line (rather than just casually knocking it out), and it’s hard to feel any sympathy for them at all.

Feel like we're just about still in this but need more live in midfield and better finishing from the few chances we're creating. Odegaard, Pepe or Martinelli in the second half.

Is it fair to start worrying about Partey now? Rubbish is maybe a bit unfair, but he's certainly not far off for what we spanked on him.

I think there might be an issue with mentality. The way he just stopped after that crap ball from Tavares for the 2nd goal Vs pool was shite.

Yeah he was nowhere on a couple of the goals which isn't great. Midfield has some big holes at the moment and we always look short of a body in there. I don't think this insistence that Lacazette is a 10 is helping when we have a perfectly good one on the bench either.

I was just hunting around for interviews with my favourite player ever - Dennis Berkgamp, obviously - and I just came across the one with Ian Wright where you can see him visibly wilt a little every time he gets called "Den".

It’s the senior lads letting us down yet again and Auba and Partey just make me sad. I think Martinelli has played himself into starting up top now though, he was absolutely superb.
