Seanfl9
What a fucking double save from your man there. Kudos!
Art Vandelay
I don’t think I’ve ever been more wrong about a player than Ramsdale.
Silent Runner
Dozed off a bit for the last 15 minutes but quality stuff overall. That save from Ramsdale was outrageous - the distance he covered across the line to get to the ball. Need a smart start to the second half. Petrousgyre
Best goalkeeping performance for us I’ve seen since Jens vs United.
SeanR
where was the usual "opponent scores when arsenal run out of steam" goal?
The Fox
This might seem crazy but I think we should stop letting the bloke who’s third-best at penalties in the side, if I’m being generous, take all the penalties.
Silent Runner
Yeah, that was another shocker of a penalty. Thought AMN looked good but Smith-Rowe seemed a little tired or something.
Silent Runner
Big fan of that goal coming from Arsenal not throwing the ball back after watford kicked it out. So sick of those bullshit stoppages and the player was up and running about seconds later.
JDubYes
Same. It’s not like it was immediately from the throw either - Watford even had the ball back again afterwards, before being dispossessed by White. Add in that Rose could’ve probably just let the ball run out for a goal kick, or certainly got it back up towards the halfway line (rather than just casually knocking it out), and it’s hard to feel any sympathy for them at all. Silent Runner
Feel like we're just about still in this but need more live in midfield and better finishing from the few chances we're creating. Odegaard, Pepe or Martinelli in the second half.

Art Vandelay
Is it fair to start worrying about Partey now? Rubbish is maybe a bit unfair, but he's certainly not far off for what we spanked on him.
Stagger Lee
I think we need to find him the right partner to get the best out of him. Liverpool marked him out of the game and it fucked us. I think there might be an issue with mentality. The way he just stopped after that crap ball from Tavares for the 2nd goal Vs pool was shite. Art Vandelay
Yeah he was nowhere on a couple of the goals which isn't great. Midfield has some big holes at the moment and we always look short of a body in there. I don't think this insistence that Lacazette is a 10 is helping when we have a perfectly good one on the bench either.
Starbreaker
I was just hunting around for interviews with my favourite player ever - Dennis Berkgamp, obviously - and I just came across the one with Ian Wright where you can see him visibly wilt a little every time he gets called "Den". Den. Den. Den. DEN! He's not heard me
Silent Runner
32 Ramsdale 18 Tomiyasu 4 White 6 Gabriel 20 Tavares 35 Martinelli 5 Partey 25 Elneny 10 Smith Rowe 8 Ødegaard 14 Aubameyang Elneny normally has a good game against utd and I'm please Martinelli is starting. I hate to say it but that looks like a good team.

Silent Runner
Been sitting so deep since that goal - very annoying. Just asking for trouble. Partay mis-hitting passes isn't helping.
wev
Tavares seems to be enjoying running into dead ends today, that or tripping over his own feet/the ball.
Art Vandelay
Partay is having a dreadful time of it again. He’s just watching that goal happen around him.

Silent Runner
Dropping deeper and deeper after scoring is the most frustrating thing about this team. Artetta on the sideline telling them to push out and they do the opposite. Is it a lack of confidence or something?

Art Vandelay
It was so obvious a goal was coming there. The game is so ragged and the only person who thought to put a foot on it was Martinelli. Just a complete collective brain collapse. Fuck sake, imagine losing again to this tosh.

Art Vandelay
It’s the senior lads letting us down yet again and Auba and Partey just make me sad. I think Martinelli has played himself into starting up top now though, he was absolutely superb.
