If Inter under Mourinho couldn't go to the Nou Camp and keep a clean sheet what chance do we have? No, there's only one thing for it. Defending Arsenal style - charge!

:omg: :OMG: :omg: :OMG:

And sadly, if Fabregas is indeed missing, thats how our team will look.

Inter had Motta sent off though which changed their approach quite a lot and obviously gave Barca more space in theory.

I reckon we'll be fine. Denilson will annoy the shit out of them with his 100% pass accuracy, even though they will all be sideways and shorter than 5 yards. Nonetheless, Xavi will get jealous of his pass completion percentages and elbow him off the ball, getting a red card.

Also yeah, a 0-0 backs-to-the-wall would definitely be more satisfying than a 0-3 trouncing.

Since joining Arsenal in 2004, van Persie has missed 42.75% of their PL games (109/255). The most he has played in one season is 28 (08-09).

The problem as I see see is not lack of strength in depth, it's purely that a large number of our top performers appear very injury prone.

If Utd were regularly without Rooney, Nani, Vidic and Ferdinand they've not got the squad to cope with it either. Same story with Chelsea only moreso.

Ramsey is due back soon. In fact he might already be back? Even after his loans he's going to be short on match fitness though so I can't see him playing any major part in the big games. I expect him to get run outs in 'easier' games though to improve his fitness levels.

Supposedly Ramsey came back on saturday but can't play tomo night as he couldn't play in the first game, it would be nice to see him feature against sunderland and then we could judge him for the barca game. Rambo and Wilshere linkin up would be very nice to see.

Aaron Ramsey was out for 9 months and has only played a handful of Championship games since he first went to Forest late last year. There's no way he could ever be in contention to play away at Camp Nou, c'mon.

Amen to that. I wonder if Liverpool can take a point at the weekend?

You can bet that Kenny won't leave anyone in that dressing room in two minds as to what a game against United should mean to a Liverpool player.

I don't think the West Ham result was too damning, I think you'll see a lot of teams underestimating West Ham in the next few games. Hitzlesberger* is massive for them and they were desperately unlucky to lose him for so much of the season. I actually had them down for a top half finish before the season started - which I am reminded of on an almost constant basis.

So anyway - all we have to do is win all our remaining games and the league is ours!

IT IS OFFICIALLY OURS TO LOSE! WHOOP!

*I know that's not how you spell it - but I can't be bothered to find out.

I'm a pessimistic old sod, but this strikes me as exactly the type of situation in which Arsenal traditionally bollocks it all up and drop points. Out of a cup, rivals drop points... BAM. Failure to capitalise.

And Sunderland are always worrying anyway.

Take your pragmatic realism elsewhere!

Diaby fit again though I think? So perhaps

Almunia; Eboue, Squillaci, Miquel, Gibbs; Diaby, Wilshere, Rosicky; Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin

Or maybe Wilshere will get a rest and Denilson will come in instead, that'd make sense.

(from the BBC sport gossip page)

http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/02/28/tottenham-consider-surprise-move-for-arsenal-bench-warmer/

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly considering making a move for Arsenal’s disaffected striker Nicklas Bendtner this summer as the White Hart Lane manager looks to strengthen his attacking options. The 23 year old Danish international has found his chances of breaking into the starting eleven limited by the arrival of Moroccan international Marouane Chamakh and has reportedly already clashed with Arsene Wenger over his lack of first team opportunities.

Oxymoron.

(Actually, I don't mind him. He has a taste for game-winning goals, so when he's playing there's always a shot.)
