I'd just like to thank Silent Runner, and everyone else who followed for posting in this thread a week ago and bringing it into my line of sight. I've now watched the first season and am very much enjoying it.

Thanks.

The start of the most recent episode is amazing. I won't even spoil it for you, but it involves the Godfather game. Hilarious.

Yeah, definitely one of the highlights of the show across all seasons.

I've never played the Godfather game but can you really do that in it?

I mean, create your own character to that degree?

Or was it movie TV magic?

Hey there.

Man... They need to make a spin off show that just concentrates on the mighty Ari Gold.

Jeremy Piven is a legend.

Despin out.

Hey there.

They already have, it's called Entourage.

Sixout.

That's fucking superb. Great PR work there... somebody got a nice bonus, I'm sure.

Best show on TV at the moment imo. Every episode a fucking gem.

Season two is where it really gets going. Enjoy

Jeremy Piven has been dubbed out of his role as an agent in the UK release of Pixar's Cars in favour of a new Jeremy Clarkson voiceover. I'm boycotting the movie in protest.

I got a little kick out of that when I saw it a few days ago, sad as it is. It's only a tiny part, but Clarkson clearly won't do it as well.

I haevn't played it either, but from the reviews and my own experience with the Tiger Woods version of the technology, I seriously doubt it. They've had some of EA's people working on that Johnny Drama model. They've obviously got a big product placement deal with them: there was a large chunk of an episode last season devoted entirely to Fight Night.

What if I told you the last 3 episodes of Entourage were 3 of the best episodes they’ve ever done. Would that be something that might interest you?

I think this current season is the best season. If they’d just followed on from S.2 with Vince on top of the World I think the show would have got old fairly quickly; but shifting the focus to Ari and his struggle to get his new agency up and running was a great idea. Showing Vince as a bit aimless and having to work for his next picture was a great move.

Ari is the star of the show, though. His freak-outs are superb and his ongoing abuse of Llyod is priceless. His session at the card tables in Vegas was beautiful, no one can swear like Jeremy Piven.

The last couple of episodes with Bob Doyle were excellent.

Oof a cliffhanger to end the series on. No more until March 2007 ;)

I really was expecting Bob to have not signed and for it to be a happy ending, with Vince filming a feature inbetween series as he has in the past. Could lead to some interesting plot lines if Vince doesn't return to Ari and he turns all spiteful.

The recurring Apple, Mercedes etc at the agencies presentations was really good.

Anyone got any 'sources' for Seasons 1 & 2? I foolishly ignored this, deciding instead to go for Heroes and Traveler. Realising way too late (after forgetting) that Heroes and Traveler only had preview eps released, and didn't truly start for a while.

Google turns up a full first page of them.

However, I caught an ITV advert today and it said it's starting on one of the other ITV channels (3 or 4 I think) on September 10th, so you could just wait for that.

Either way, awesome ending to the season; just a little weird. The other seasons have ended with Vince doing a project, thus us picking up after that (allowing themselves a chance to mix things up if they need to). I mean how will season 4 start off? I don't see how it won't have to start exactly where we left off.

Now I need something else to tide me over till Lost/24 start again.

Correct.

The first two episodes are on ITV2 from 10pm on the 10th September.

Watched the first 2 episodes of this last night on ITV2, it was rather decent indeed. Not really lolling all the way through but there were a couple of choice lines and scenes in both episodes.

Loved the girls line to Vince's Bro in the Rolls

"Have I seen you somewhere before"

To which Turtle replied

"Yeah Cinemax at 5.00 am"

Oh and the I Heart Cock sticker was also a highlight.

I shall be watching it every week.

Does it pick up at all? Found the first episode pretty aimless.

Yes it does. I couldn't make my mind up about it for much of the first season. Some of it was a lot of fun, but individual episodes are so slight and insubstantial that a poor one would drag it down, especially if your'e not watching them in a batch. But after a while the characters grab you, and you start to feel like part of the gang. I was really excited to see the Entourage cinema advert last night: Kevin Dillon is now more famous in my eyes than his brother Matt.

I suggest sticking with it for a while.

In your opinion.

I've just begun Season 1, 4 eps in, and its excellent, massive rofls etc., I'm sure 'hey-now' Hank Kingsleys' mind has been split into two characters tho', and 'E' is Jason Bateman.
